    Well if I had to come off the fence it'd probably bee the 100 Club for overall significance, because of the 29 years and the zero crap policy. But then where would the scene have been without Wigan?

    No you're not No you factor Steve, let us know how you get on.. Pikey saying it's a nonsense question, no it's not. Not if you can read (and I know he can). I never went to Wigan but I know all about it's significance. Is that enough sizzle these days to still be # 1 all time? I'm not so sure, that's why I thought I'd ask. Come on ffs, it's a pretty simple question.

    I don't know that we need feel controversial on this. Just a big difference between nine years and twenty nine. I know they packed a lot into those nine years, but thirty years next year for the 100, that's pretty special, sorry, significant!

    Wigan ran for nearly nine years. 100 Club, 29 years... More people flocked to Wigan each week and it was a considerably larger venue. But then folk flock from Europe and all over to the 100 Club and they've never played a crap record.. Perhaps the Wheel could be in the running as it was the first, but I doubt it. Torch wasn't really on long enough to be a contender. Blackpool was groundbreaking, but the allnighter? Any other serious contenders? Would be interesting to know at this stage of the scenes history, which all-nighter could be considered the overall most significant nighter?

    Perhaps but the post just referred to the album and he sang on all of the tracks on that. Infact I'm struggling to think of any numbers they did that he didn't sing on. I'll have to have a dig (as in a look) and see what's what. Less you can fill us in?
