  1. For sure and when you nod off, images of this no doubt..

  3. Think it's thousands Paul, got an mp3 somewhere.. You're right though, fantastic tune!
  4. That reminds me of SS mod and all round good egg Rachel Shirley as she agreed with me that Ruby does infact sing "such a tit head" right near the end of the song.
  5. Yes likewise on the GC mate as said dedicated to you at the 100 Club - even assumed a Scottish accent - "This one goes out for Dundee Davie" .... Fair play on the second point..
  6. Reckon around the £150 mark if it's a minter.
  7. Crappiest punters I've seen recently are the passing trade one's on Oxford St. But don't scowl at them for Gawd's sake, or you'll be the crap punter, cos they're new blood. Honest!
  8. I got an email from TG (as he signs himself) not long after that show..
  9. Dave Evison is God. As a 19 year old stepping about at the Fleet - I rushed up on stage and said "you've got to sell me that record"! Twelve quid I think we agreed on and I went away a happy young soulie - thanks to DE. This was massive then (c.86')
  10. I like your new avatar Pete.
  11. I remember that! Yeah at the Rocket..
  12. Thanks Darren.
  13. Just a bit of lightheartedness on a Thursday afternoon .. Maybe been done before on a romantic tip? Anyway, generally speaking - I'd have to go for Otis Lee - Hard Row To Hoe on Quaint and say that it reminds me of Clanger, cos I remember him wanting it, I remember him getting it and I remember dancing to it whilst he was playing it out. Dunno if he's sold it or what, but yep that track reminds me of soul chum Clanger.. Must be hundreds similar? It's the 'why' that's interesting? Do tell ..
  14. Soundfile perchance?
  15. Blimey where was that played? Lucky Charms - Tied to your heart.

  17. My friend Johnny Manship has quoted % approval stats from this thread for the UK copy currently on his auction!
  18. SS member Dan Collins has an issue.
  19. Shag?
  20. Well unless he's bought it recently, which I seriously doubt. I've never heard him play it at the 100 Club and when 6TS was at Jacks, I did actually ask him if he had it and he said no. I'll ask him again tomorrow.
  21. I asked him.
  22. No Butch doesn't have a copy.
  23. Steve Aldo - You're absolutely right - PARLAPHONE
  24. Yep with you on the last bit. I'm trying to think where that came from now - but I'm certain it was the Wheel that DG had visited and was the inspiration behind the term.
