  1. Yeah he isn't the sort to bugger about with fake bids, honest.
  2. There were no fake bids on this auction.
  3. Doesn't seem that long ago down the 100 Club I witnessed the copy in question being purchased for the princely sum of ninety quid. Can remember thinking it was pricey then as well as being well jel. Probably 15+ years ago. A record is worth what someone is prepared to pay for it.
  4. 'Waggy' as in waggy tongue? You seem to be involving yourself in plenty you needn't! Having an opinion or drawing a conclusion is one thing, but the needless chat and reports to ebay? You've too much free time on yer hands pal!
  5. I was pleasantly impressed by his shoes. There, something positive. Shite dancer though & = shite ill advised tutorial.
  6. Next Friday you say Fluff ... I like it. I like it a lot.
  7. Tiresome, wearisome and saddenly disappointing, this f*cking shredded wheat business.
  8. https://carverycuts.com/home/dubplates-order.html
  9. Sad news, R.I.P Freddie.
  10. Now sorted, thanks.
  11. In VG+ or better condition. Thanks. Ian.
  12. Sad news. Rest in peace Tony.
  13. Very sad news indeed. R.I.P Jimmy.
  14. I can't recall what Nick was/is asking for them. Price dependant on size I suppose..
  15. So where did Carl Willingham get his copy then I wonder, does anyone know? Brilliant record imo, best thing I've heard since the Profs.
  16. Not forgetting the Monkey! Goo gee gee gar gar.. The Peanut Duck is the thing to do. Carry on.
  17. Exactly!
  18. I thought his Northern accent was pretty good as opposed to Partridge charter which is Norwich.
  19. Yep deffo a north sarf divide thing I'd say. I did make mention of the soz unusualness during general exiting chats with well know Southern characters Colin Innocenti and Roger Stewart and neither of them seemed aware - unless they were just being 'kind' Oh to be a Midlander/Northerner ..
  20. Well I never, I thought it were the reserve of towie tarts alone. Soft southern nancy's on t'northern scene syndrome again Well that's me all out of nit pickings about this excellent film then. Mr Simsy advises Amazon despatch today, bangers mash dinner a re-watch with soul pals Tuesday.
  21. Ah right, so let me get this straight, first use of the word was by Sooty on this label? Thought soz was more of a contemporary kids text speak type thing
  22. Nice review that pal. Not a nit pick, well kind of a nit pick but they only thing I found odd about the film was the use of the word "soz" in the early opening sequence. If you had said soz to me in nineteen seventy something, I wouldn't have known what you were on about. I smiled when I read your comment that the drug taking was not over done. I say this as I thought the drug scenes were ubiquitous and omnipresent. Though again and as you say mate, we know the reality can be not too dissimilar perhaps on occasion. All about going out and making sure you're gonna have a banging good time! I do think a certain amount of slack is admissible and licence granted with regard to exactly what was was played and when etc. I don't doubt I'd experience similar situations when I win the Euromillions and make a film about the 100 Club, starring Johnny Depp as 'Simsy' 'Not coming to a cinema near you'..
  23. About an hour 50.
  24. I thought it was a really good film, a young lad wants to better himself, get better records, be a better DJ. Perfectly credible, lots of humour and just a really enjoyable well made film. Well done ten out of ten!
  25. He was more upbeat than some of our lot!
