Chap upstairs here at work is asking for some samples of tracks with female vocal with piano; Harry says: mr sims! you're good on obscure music - after any track with a solo piano in and a female vocal so any song with a piano in that plays on its own and then has some bird singing at some point in it Any ideas? 7/1/11 Finished clip post # 22.

People make history regarding the overall scene. However venues like the Casino and the 100 Club are important because of the actual buildings. You have to have the venue, the people and the atmosphere to make the history.

I just hope that some of these now famous bands who have played down the 100 Club, do remember the venue and dig deep before Christmas. None more wealthy than the Rolling Stones who could save the club's problems in a flash. I fear we may witness some selfish bastard syndrome though sadly. There was a link from some Clash guitarist calling on someone to start a campaign to save the 100 Club. You be that someone mate and f***ing crack on!

We ain't really feeling the love for you at the minute pal to be honest. No end of pics of the Stones etc emblazoned on the walls down there. Not to mention the jazz section, nice. Deep pockets, some of those dudes. If the Facebook action gathers sufficient momentum all could be well - look at Rage against the Fooking machine!

If you'll forgive me, I think the point Derek was trying to make Nev, is it's a public forum - you pays your money, you takes your choc ice.. End of the day no one would want to purposefully spoil a sale for anyone and 99% of the time all would keep schtum and rightly so. Thing that started this (imo) was the 1% exception that warranted comment (again imo). Topic starter didn't take it particularly badly, there was a discussion as such and that was that. Re-inventing the wheel and over naval examination not necessary.

So why tell me they had a budget for TV ad's etc? Why say you're going to promote it properly and then think that a Stoke knees up and Keb & Chris stepping about outside the flicks is going to be sufficient? Chancers!
