  1. Sad news, rest in peace Herb.
  2. Reminds me of being 17. Still quite fond, though not very soul.
  3. As always a record is worth what you are prepared to pay for it. Got to be 10k plus with that amount of time left? If only we had more dough eh soul source?
  4. I'd say around 75/80 for the Demo and about a ton to 120 for the issue if they're both really clean.
  5. Some would say yes, but as it's unreleased it's a bit of a free for all in a low grade chancerish way.

Great track mate, picked one up late last year just shy of a ton I think..
  7. I ALWAYS thought it was a geezer! Stone me, all these years.. Listening to it now and yep, though raucous I can see it's a woman. Northern Soul, tough old game..
  8. Lonzine Cannon? I'm a liddle confused over here ..
  9. Lonzine Cannon a she? This thread's weird man, I'm off.
  10. It's pretty much understood in this country at least that Butch is # 1.
  11. Old up, it's Morris Saatchi! I agree with Steve G and don't sell yourself too short with the 'uncatchable' Steve, I remember John mentioning your collection in the next breath to Butch's on this very site in recent years. I'm Spartacus, and my wife.
  12. Ridiculous!

  14. Type doesn't look as authentic as the release at the top of the thread, I wonder if this was a SBI 2nd issue or sommat? Anyone ever seen one?
  15. I have heard it played out by Mick & Sam and I'd have to say it's brilliant.
  16. I wonder what 'Pyramid' goes for on S.B.I? (soul bros inc).
  17. You've gotta love Pat Lewis!
  18. Selectadisc vouchers maybe?
  19. Sorry, I know you shouldn't laff at yer own shite, but
  20. For those of us that have none, if you were allowed two, which one's would you have? Shirley Edwards & Ray Pollard for me. I wonder (currently) which is the most expensive/desirable?
  21. Cairo's filler?
  22. Okay okay, I take it all back..
  23. Yeah well 'crap' may be a bit harsh for dear Danny, but any record with a £900+ price drop, warrants half a mention on a thread like this - maybe ..
