  2. Never. But I can read
  3. I did a thread about the eighties a while back and there were loads of venues mentioned and I would say a good 80% were in the North (North of Watford) I know eighties is yonks ago, but I've no reason to think that there has been a surge in the South in the last twenty years and a real big drop off in the north in terms of venues.
  4. The Chuck Jackson alternate version of 'Hand it Over' is a goodie. Difference is only slight on the "Let me know where I stand" Also Terry Callier - Look at me now. Superb alternate version. Sorry no sound files at the mo'. I'm at work
  5. Only gay at Wigan?

  11. Well yeah. But then no. As the RealPlayer was loading it flashed up Murry Wilson. I knew it had to be MW of BB fame as I recognised his voice and he is just the sort of dickless piece of shit to record something like that. ps, He really did have an album out entitled 'The Many Moods of Murry Wilson'. Turd.
  12. Although it may surprise you, I've come here to advise you that I've looked into these things. Also, does drinking shandy and being a southerner mean you have any less metal?

  20. Play what you think they'd like to hear. Not what you want to hear.
  21. Just had a vegetable korma Mikey. I hope this in some small way goes towards redeeming myself for the earlier 'delicious looking animals' comment.
  22. Hey that ain't boring. Know it? I used to wash dishes in that pub when I was 15 Yep it's a small world allright Dan But you wouldn't want to paint it

  24. Ah that's a real shame. I rang him once when he was the Landlord of the Queen Vic, just up the road from here in Great Dunmow. I asked him if he had a box full of 'Better use your head's" in the loft. He didn't, but laughed about it and was taken a back that it went for a £100. He used to play at the Wheatsheaf in stortford as well some times. Sad news indeed.
