On the way in this morning I was listening to Ruby Andrews - Just loving you and she definitely does sing "such a tit head" towards the end of the song, no question. In Cookie Jackson's - Do you still love me, she does say "Ian Sims" during the song. And my mate thinks that Lonzine Cannon number is all about drugs as he says "you call me and asked me for an eighth". All right that last one was a joke, but there are some unfathomable lyrics that have taken years to work out what they are singing about and some I'm still not sure about. Here's a couple that were unwrapped years ago, but it took years to figure them out ... "look before you leap and count, count your blessings instead of sheep". Another was, "Give up you silly fool give up, that's what my friends tell me to do. If anyone knows what the Cairo's were on about; "every day when she walks by, I give her my biggest smile, but it's always in vain and I see it ????" Are there any soul songs you know with strange indecipherable lyrics? Or are there any we can help you with maybe?

Designed to get me there & back in comfort, safely. Then......I drove an S reg Chrysler Avenger, that was designed to overheat and play up constantly. Tinny sounds from shitty cassette player. What I want to know is why Jon brought this thread back to life after being dormant for a year? Something not quite right about NS dance lessons imo. Think I know what it is that troubles me about them. If it is possible to teach someone how to dance NS style, then they're being fast tracked and in doing so missing out on the discovery experience. Nationally speaking the rare soul fan is in a minority, but if you love the music, it should move you. In through the ears and out through the legs.
