    Yeah was being serious mate. Quinvy could be right and I'd just forgotten. Heard many a Butch set in recent times, Saturday just gone being the last. Not heard him play it in an age if he has deffo got it, which thinking about it, it was on that dodgy Rocket set recoding. I can't recall ever hearing Mick or Ginger play it to be honest, but sure there's more than 2 copies.

    Ah right. Description on Popsike was/is - 'condition: very good- visually (both sides start out with a little bit of noise but clear up alright to play vg/vg+ for the majority of the side)(wol)'. You sure Butch has a copy? Never heard him play it..

    Yep that is the so called fooked copy I referred to. Harsh maybe vg to vg+ wunnit? I'd still swap my left one for it. So did Brownie sell his to shifty? 2 copies? 3 copies? And why does everyone's name end with an e quinvy simsy shifty browny ...

    I think - all joking aside, the knock on effect of this will be less UK sales for American dealers and more crate digging sorties by UK hounds.

    Mine was marked as a gift on the new evil spill the beans label. I don't think the used and gift angle is going to work anymore. I'm going to buy all my records from Pete Smith from now on, problem solved.

    I'm unclear as to whether V.A.T is applicable on used items, or used records I should say.. Only V.A.T I can think of on second hand items are commercial vehicles?

    Record arrived this morning. Looks in better condition than described and super quick delivery as only shipped yesterday. Thank you very much.

    Got an email back from Steve Calfee this morning and one major thing I'd overlooked was condition - New. Most of the time these records will be used, so no problem. I suppose I should be grateful for those unplayed half dozen Chinatown's I had a few years back without any of these difficulties.

    It's always been £400 or thereabouts hasn't it - for years? With these last two going for more than that plus the VAT, tis a bit dear though, they're all slightly off centre as well - well this batch. Killer track on the Lost Soul cd though - 'I'm gonna hurt you - Hey Girl'
