  4. Serious? If so would recommend this site https://www.goodiesruleok.com/forum.php?forum=1 You may have more joy there ..
  5. Pat & The Blenders. I weep every time I hear it, wishing I hadn't given my copy away.
  6. Edited Injections into thread title Paul. Think you may have more joy.
  7. That's very true, depends on how mindful tomangoes is of the All About The Soul section. Save for that we'd be in freebasing! But enough of this spiff balling ...
  8. He did 'Mother-In-Law' didn't he? (so to speak)
  9. Yep echo that. Wasn't sure if tomangoes meant soulfully speaking what picks you up, or generally speaking. I thought the former?
  10. 'An All Time High, What picks you up?' Knowing of the existence of Northern Soul. 25 years of memories, sounds and friends. The euphoria I feel when I secure ownership of a record I have loved since I was a teenager.
  11. If you're careful with your records then he must have scratched it. Assuming you packaged it properly which I'm sure you did. Why should you have it back in worse condition than you sold it? What's it going to be worth then? Tough it out I say. Feedback works both ways. Call his bluff. And good luck!

  13. Moving this to media section. Link left.
  14. Yep clearly not Troy Dodds moonlighting there. But catchy and dancable.
  15. Showmen - In Paradise - SWAN Flip of 'Take It Baby' /index.p...si&img=9615
  16. Strewth! Sold an orange crackin up 2nd issue for £45 just before Christmas..
  17. £90.00 19/5/05 £87.23 2/10/05. All relative I guess ...
  18. Shifty at the 100 Club used to play some mind blowing sets!
  19. Thinking it was an original surely?
  20. No no that's just it, Phonetics - Michigan Move is the B side. But as Pyramid cuts out (on the A) just before the end, you can clearly hear a couple of seconds of feminine ingenuity!
  21. I know it's not the dearest pressing, but a Soul Bros Inc - Pyramid went for £80 about three years ago. Considering it looks nothing like the original, it's crap quality and not even the full song (cuts off before the end and you can hear Ruby Sherry singing her heart out at the last knockings ) I think that's a lot of money for that record.
  22. Anyone got a soundfile of the Jim Webb version?
  23. Moving this thread to Media section.
  24. Moving to correct section.
