Yep that's true and a good point. Does everyone necessarily know that a seller is going to be up for a trade though? I know folk sell records to buy more, but I'm thinking of people like Bearsy as he posted above, don't like selling records, but would post a list for purely trades. That way he's lost nothing? Some of these records are expensive as we know too well. Thought maybe this way would be more out in the open... Sort or redistribution of soul as it were!
Yep thats what we already have in place. Maybe stay that way might be the best option. Could be though lists for trades would mean more swapsiz taking place (I know I'd look) and if people end up outing what they consider is a crap record in return for a good one and vice versa for just the cost of postage, that is what may be interesting to pursue further?
