  1. no no, i'm talking nonsense boys, sorry. It was a demo, Rob Messer £150..
  2. If only it weren't Christmas. Had an issue in my hand for £150, but went for Freddie Gorman instead @ £100. Go Seahawks!
  3. If it was just a straightforward want, you are in the right place mate. Unless it's been moved here?
  4. On it's way mate.
  5. yep just fumbling around, move this to media. see if i can dig it out.
  6. Torn ...
  7. Bit of a grey area as to the value on this. Only listed known copy sold was a couple of year's back for £130. Deffo worth more than that now. As stated was a copy listed here in sales section a few weeks ago from a French member for 400 Euro's - £285 a bit steep? Reckon the Japanese issue would be worth the big bucks - French £250 minter?
  8. All been a bit quiet in here of late ... and as I for one would swap anything for anything (if anything was good enough ), would be nice to see some more lists of stuff folks aren't fussed about. Must be tons! Don't got to be rare ... tamla, pressings.. and on ... New vinyl = excitement and for nowt!
  9. Not really. But I wouldn't judge these comments as slagging, just comments..
  10. The Boot. Clarence Carter - Messing With My Mind on the other side..
  11. Beauty in the ear of the beholder I guess.. Japanese release is the really rare one.
  12. Nah. This... Demo. Issue.
  13. It was me that requested it at the 100. I'd been on at him for a while to play it. There was one in Sales a couple of weeks back - 400 Euro's ... It's called 'A lovely Way To Die' btw..
  14. That matrix number's looking a bit dodge mate. If you don't mind me saying so ...
  15. You know full well H. And don't tell me you ain't a fan of that mid-tempo stuff.
  16. Why a short read Ken? Stafford was ground breaking, pages worth. Think Arnie's on to something.

Hi Rocky, Welcome to Soul Source. You might want to post these in the Ebay Sales Section of the site, here /index.php?showforum=28 If you could post an intro in the intro section, as is customary, that would be grand.
  18. What a storming bargain, this must go today! Had to post dollar bills to the states, not so long back for this. Superb track. Must get me some nsc tickets..
  19. I know and we've said he was very talented for the music he created and very much a shit for knocking Tina about. But the two are different things, was the point.
  20. Being a wife beater doesn't make the music crap. It is possible to appreciate the music created, whilst despising the wife beating. What's better Ike, his faults, his music? Or to have stayed away and never made any music? Tina Turner's level of superstardom is down to a number of factors. Talent and hard work, clearly being a couple. That effort and her history of abuse in a country like America, made her what she is today.
  21. Shifty had a VG+ copy not so long back, sixty quid I think. Long shot, but might be worth sending an email. ravingmadrecords@aol.com
  22. Sad news indeed. R.I.P Ike Turner.
