This is the thing Fiona. Who told you YOU were/are qualified to give NS dance lessons? What if I think your dancing capability is a bit crap? Does that mean you will be passing on sub standard lessons? There was nothing wrong with how most of us learnt to dance. We heard the music, it moved us spiritually/musically and made us want to dance - either on the outer perimeters of the dance floor to begin with, or in our front room with the curtains drawn. That way is/was righteous imo. Fiona and her lessons are bogus. Again, imo.

That's as maybe, though I fancy on a wider scale, the hand bagging grockle massive don't really give too much of a toss about soul, rare, northern or otherwise. Never have, never will. Praise be.

Maybe you're right there Winston and thanks for pointing that out. You and 249 others seem to like the idea. Not for me though, probably best kept short.

Talking of facebook and April fools.. I was reading a post from one of the 'dancers' from the One Show who says he has been offered his own soul show on BBC4 with different dancers each week.. I scrolled down to see where the boom boom April Fools bit was, but there wasn't one .. Concerned of Stortford.

Only thing that wasn't painfully cringe worthy for me on the One Show was the film clip. Lisa Stansfield's Northern number was shocking.

I don't know, but there are 37 Del Larks on Popsike and only one of them on Jet. Doubtful that it would make that kind of money on Ebay.. Uproar here is that a fair few don't like it and because of the amount it went for, but with a JM auction, what did folk expect?
