Soundtrack - Northern Soul The Film
When is this blo*dy film coming out, seriously, I'm sick of waiting. We went to the filming on the same day Mo Farrah won his gold medal (we caught that in a pub on way home that evening thats how I remember), jeez nearly on to next Olympics Games by now. When's it coming out?

And also I never tire of it, doesn't matter how often I hear it, and I love both versions, such a great well written soulful track.

Richard Searling "cellar Full Of Soul" Radio Show Playlists
Excellent, look forward to this from the great man himself. Some great soul shows on the radio at the moment, Tulip & Radio Newark are superb with Dean Anderson, the soul is real quality and you should tune in if you haven't already.

** Dean Anderson** T.n.t. Soul Show - Radio 7 Pm Tonight
I enjoy these shows a lot, really educational for me. Even have a reminder event set up on me iPhone calendar 15mins before, works great cos I'd forget on my own. The quality of soul is outstanding. Loved the Betty Turner last week & I think they played Malcolm Hayes, great record.

Was it The Superbs Chalks?

Autographs Loves Gonna Do You In - Joker 714
Nice information Robb. Did you ever come across Herman Lewis on your travels? I know Herman Griffiths co produced Who's Kissing You Tonight along with JJ, one of my all time favourite soul records. Pressuming Stone Blue Records was west coast too?

Soul Source Favourite Motown Song
Marvin Gaye, This Love Starved Heart Of Mine (It's Killing Me). What a title! Closely followed by Ain't That Pecular, never get tired of either. Also most anything by The Supremes, I Hear A Symphony/Touch Me In The Morning/I'm Still Waiting, all just great.

Roughly Valuing A Collection
Remember book price & real life price are nothing like, more like 1/4 of book price is realistic to aim for, book prices are for mint & retail. Unless its something special that is.

One Show BBC
They were from Liverpool :-)

One Show BBC
Had the back ripped out of me today on work. 'Do you dance like that Aid?' 'Do you were those flares Aid?' 'Piss@ff'.

Leon Haywood
Not sure of the numbers, but Ive had one of these, check out the 'O' & the 'A in NOT FOR SALE, slighty filled in on original styrene demo.
-
Ruby On Token
A great double sider, love em both, Decieved edges it for me. I mean... 'Walkin round like the living dead' ...best lyrics ever used on a Northern track.

One Show BBC
Embarrassing that, whats with all those fancy dress outfits, and really old people doing backdrops? One step forward (the movie) & three steps back (the media coverage). ........Same as it ever was.

Just How Rare?
Which reminds me, wonder why Manship has taken off his 'Rarest of the Rare' part of his site? Can't seem to see it anymore, I have all the data elsewhere, but it was nice to actually look at the label scans.

Wigan 78 - It Was As Bad As This?
Are you serious? Do you think we just sat there waiting for Joe 90 to finish? My time was from 79 onwards anyway, I was there every single Saturday without fail. RS didn't come on until 2 AM, probably milled around in the record bar for couple of hours before that. I can guarantee you that at 2 AM that place was the best place to be in Britain bar non. I moved on myself, got into lots of other the stuff, but that's not the point. It's not as black-and-white as you make it sound, let's talk about the quality on offer, not just the crap. But to each their own.

Which Northern Track You Dislike The Most
