Hi folks, Just going though my box am in the process of listing a few originals very shortly. Came across one I've got no idea of value. Its by Magicians Keep Your hands Off My Baby on Villa. But I've never seen this design of label before. The ones on Popsike don't have a drawing of a building above the word 'Villa' like this does. Its distributed by Cameo Parkway & the label is pale green. Not in the best condition mind prob a vg, but just thought the label design interesting. What does anyone reckon? worth flogging £30 to £40 maybe?? Any help appreciated for a listing price Aid.

Yeah, will prob have to bite the bullet if it comes to that. I've stated clearly about insurance costs in the text, but I can see what you mean if they don't want to pay the extra, they probably won't do. Won't be the end of the world as it happens, as long as I sell the record not that bothered, but deffo would be if it happened a lot. Aid.

Okay folks, Think i've sussed it out, just put seller standard rate & list it in my text, think that's the solution. Seems to be verifying with my GarageSale software anyway. Cheers Aid.

Okay guys, I'm about to list a record. No way am I sending it without full insurance & tracking as its an expensive record. Which when i checked on Royal Mail they do a full insurance & track for 8.50. I'm not trying to rip anyone off, will state all this on my listing. But when I try to upload the auction it states a £4 maximum for that category. What's does everyone else do when listing an expensive 45's? Cos i deffo want it insured. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Seem em going for buttons these days, sure one went for about $9 last month, wouldn't have minded a copy back in '79 aka Bob Segar would've fetched a fair few bob back then, not very soulful, but massive. Aid.

Although sometimes (well once) it worked the other way for me, I set my max bid far too low when i knew there was a bargain to be had the seller listed the b side & didn't have 'northern soul' in the listing & I lost out on a Chandlers on col soul for the sake of a dollar (although I know the winner could have been a dealer dragging me into a bidding war), but it went for way less than $200, great condition too a vg one went for $400 tonight. Aid

Okay guys, can anyone clarify for me exactly which brand of yellow PVA wood glue in U.K.? I've got a rather dirty Herbert Hunter on Spar could deffo benefit from a really good clean like this. Aid.

I remember buying one thinking it was Lorraine on vocal when I handed my (pocket) money over. I know there are a lot of rose tinted specs about SS,, but IMO he was nothing but a w@nker, responsible for the demise of the quality soul at Wigan for one thing, luckily, not all dj's were in his pocket & some had principles. Aid.
