Not really counterintuitive in the context of northern soul. Not a particularly rare record. It is the best looking label variant but the condition is obviously the main selling point. I'm sure there are plenty of other copies out there in similar condition.

I was always told that the design with the logo in italics that goes around the top of the label is the first issue. Then the larger straight logo design is the second issue. Regards, Carl
