  1. Sorry forgot to look at my Arctics the other night. My 137 is Oh how it hurts / Ain't got nobody My 142 is the "(I can feel your love) Slipping away" record. Sounds like the discography you are looking at is probably mashed up, esp. with the 120 thing as well.
  2. where is the photo from, the south? we were told (wrongly) that Chuck Cockerham and Detroit Sounds of Friction were blue eyes.....they ain't.
  3. Unless someone beats me to it, I'll have a look when I get home

  7. Ady please make sure there is one of each in the box......after Universal's Motown "set" horlicks.
  8. I am not surprised, there is money about and JM attracts a global audience - so poss. someone not in the UK who may not have the inclination to attend 29 100 Club anniversaries in London or the time to try and hunt down 29 records. Dunno who got em all, but that's 29 records for an amount some people pay for a single record. Stop being such a bunch of girls blouses
  9. What do you want to know about it Mikey? It's an established seller at around the 200-250 mark. Patrick Adams production, mis spelt.....good oldie etc....
  10. Two mixes….
  11. Lovely collection on Ebay.
  12. You should all give him a bit of neutral / negative and watch him self combust
  13. The guy was asking on FB what venue didn't want "shorts" on their advert, someone tells him, and then within 5 minutes he's come on here saying he's been "refused admission" to said club - playing the old soldier ticket.....All a great big wind up, but it's just not funny at all. 101 better things to do on a spring sunday.
  14. Reissued last year, late, yes Tramp….
  15. Yes Eddie the owner died and the LV dudes got most of the stock which was in his garage…..

  17. I reckon we could do our own version of the 8 tribes amongst the SERIOUS record collectors, not these lightweights
  18. I have another Joe King on that Please give me a home logo - quite good thumper - play it occasionally - probably next at Skegness…..
  19. What a great blog….v interesting.
  20. Got loads from groups and singers….A Turners Bros LP signed by nearly all of them, things like that. One of my favourites is probably Josh Pridgen of The Reflections writing on a copy of their first 45 "to Barbara - a very special black lady, love from Josh"….something like that. A bit of history, I am thinking he was proud as punch and gave a copy to his girlfriend…..
  21. Yes John it has a stamped in release number, will dig it out over the weekend…..for ya.
  22. not in the UK it wasn't….Ian is talking about UK…..
  23. Wow! Are all the trophy hunters out of town this week?
  24. 1550 was an Atlantic distributed single. No Archer stamp, but Archer was a pressing plant and Atlantic probably used other ones. Nothing says you have to use the same one each record….In going through my Karen's there's a 717 too which was a 1971 release.
