I remember talking to him at the RT review. He was very quiet and shy, don't think he had performed live in front of a crowd for many years, if at all ever.

Its all done, but my publisher has disappeared disappointingly and I think may have gone out of business….….so am probably going to self publish now. It's all done 500 pages A4 two column with pics and label scans etc…Just need to do a final proof read and the index….Cheers Steve

No you need to read it closely….. he is describing the Wand label…..the diverse product, the really rare, the great artists…Looks pretty obvious to me. Wand has all of those and I should know

Depends on what scene you are on I guess. NS, you could make a profit (Eddie Parker etc)….sure. Modern soul, take your CDs and 12s to a shop and you'll get feck all for em….

Promos? More likely copies for juke boxes. That's what I always thought. Played it as a brand new release at Essence, it appeared about a week before the weekender….dropped it in, took the roof off! Think Steve Plumb had the 7s, and cheap too. You have to be quick to grab a bargain in this old world.

There are 100s of them about….it's not a rare record. But once again demand outstrips supply so the price goes up.
