  1. I am still awaiting for the avatar "Boot"
  2. No probs. Just wish I could do all those fancy pictures etc
  3. I think all of this makes sense Dave, though TOD was the "throwaway" B side from memory wasn't it? Wasn't "Confession of love" the A side? Sorry don't have the record in front of me at the moment Oh and Richard Marks did one of the best "Corners" records. Also there was "Cutting the corners" etc.
  4. 3rd and final one from me The Honey Bees Never in a million years Garrison Steve G Cheshunt Herts / Crewkerne Somerset
  5. 2nd one from me The Thompson Project feat Gary L. "Messin' with my mind" (Guy Robin main vocal mix) Soulfuric Steve G Cheshunt Herts / Crewkerne Somerset
  6. No "The Corners" was a dance craze Oh Fickled one, it was done to tighten up probably, but then we had the 4 corners, 8 corners, 16 corners etc. I have seen it performed . The dancers kind of move into the centre and then jiggle about and then go back to their corners. The funk boys on here will know more.
  7. Oh God!
  8. The Burt record was from detroit I think. Blue label, have it somewhere. Probably also have the Venture stuff too as I did an article on the label in Shades of Soul a while back.
  9. Just been and looked in my Motown albums - he was on: Totally Tata Givin all my love Full speed ahead
  10. Robert Mousey Thompson? All these I've listed are ones he may have been on - his name certainly appears on 'em.
  11. Clifton Dyson & Rick Webb "I can't let you go" ?
  12. Artwork? Come on man this is too easy......
  13. Ron Cartier LP?
  14. Rhythmically Very similar to Take me back just a bit earthier and more subdued
  15. Neale Sharpe & Debra Franklin - but it's outta Tx so probably Al not directly involved. Wasn't he also involved with the group Aggregation?
  16. There is another vesion of Im back for more on a black label, I'll see if I can find it.
  17. What is this a list of his productions? - if so plenty plenty more to add. What about the other 80s version of "I'm back for more" for starters
  18. No not the same and pretty sure W&MMs was first, but would need to double check to be sure
  19. OK Roger was waiting for you to post up some pics. I am a technophobe in that department.... Here's my assessment Boot has darker black printing (heavier ink) (the original has quite light ink on it) Boot is a slightly darker orange Boot shows signs of glue creases on label especially around the centre hole Boot has much narrower run in BUT the biggest difference Boot has BEE 223A in run out Original has BB223A in run out Hope that helps y'awll. Steve
  20. Ken It's not a second issue - it's a boot
  21. As Pete says Delta number in the run out over 100,000 then it's a BOOT from 76/77 (we need an avatarr for boot methinks).
  22. Reckon it'll go down further $1.50 or lower by Crimbo. Buy dollars NOW*. *Investments can go up as well as down. The information contained in this email is merely an opinion and should not be relied upon as investment advice. So there.
  23. You guys got it. Lou Pride was told the same thing, as was Emmanuel Laskey etc etc. A lot of people are labouring under the mis apprehension that they had No 1 hits in England.
  24. It's the only one missing from my GOLDEN WORLD collection too, but rest assured I shall not be paying more than £5 for a copy.
  25. Correct that is what they say: Sha la la la Sweet sweet song-on the dancefloor, Move with me Shoo-doo doo-doo Doo-doo'
