Arctic is an interesting one. I'd say the rarest (and I did collect the label and am, only missing one) Cindy Gibson, agree Chalky One of the Brockingtons ditto although I can't remember which one now cos it's not very good. The one I didn't get (yet) is "Chains of love" which I believe is only on a test pressing and might not exist as a proper finished article. Thanks for reminding me of the Darrow Fletcher issue

Yes they put it out twice on the label. There's also another good mid tempo record on the label as well The Performers doing a version of the classic "The right to cry".

Thanks for the post and for sharing your views. However it is just that, your views. So when you say nothing rare on UA I presume you have seen loads of copies of Nathan Williams "What price"? ABC - Tommy Tate - up there with the biggest of 'em I am afraid. Atco Ed Robinson Ivory - think this is pretty hard Buddah - Janice Joyce I could go on.....but have work to do.... You mention things like Sam Williams, Willie Hutch, Gentlemen 4 etc - there must be at least 75-100 of them over here alone George in DJ boxes and with old collectors etc. One persons rare is another persons scarce etc etc. But I do like the distinction between rare and scarce. I stand corrected.... Yes this is the TV show I have the series of. Sure are some good acts on there and Bob, not all cover versions, from a Chicago perspective I distinctly recall seeing the Radiants and also Mamie Galore singing "It ain't necessary" on one of the episodes. When I get some time I might see if I can get it off of vid and onto a more uptodate format....

He was Atlanta based and was the regular act on a TV series of soul shows in the 60s, I have them on Video, and he appeared every week singing a different song. That's probably him, doing a cover. I guess you have or know of his 45 releases?

A number of pretty rare Bell records out there - Jim Gilstrap Run run run for example. Also I think Happy is quite a tough one, same one side as their Verve release but with a different B side on Bell.

It's tough, I think because she died when the promos were out there. Did you sell it in the end?
