  1. Other side of Little Rock Brotherhood is a nice x over instrumental....
  2. You are a star!
  3. Took your time Rob!!!..... I was going to do a whole session of fruit & veg labels - maybe another time
  4. Yes already packed in the box. Didn't know it was from 1969 though.....
  5. Acetate only as far as I am aware
  6. Yes, Jarrett was a Nashville legend, other labels will be familiar to northern folk, Poncello, Spar etc. Ref-O-Ree was Jarrett's label, and ran from 68 to 73. Kent's Music City Soul is the one to cover the label, and there is also a budget CD done in 2007 with a number of the same tracks. I know all this because I am doing a Ted Jarrett special on my next SUnday Afternoon Soul show, so have been doing a bit of research on his productions, songs and labels. Still no info on the Precious 3 though or Spice opt Life though! Steve
  7. Thanks for reminding me I am supposed to have booked our tickets for London but have forgotten....leave it with me and hope they've not sold out or I'll be in big trouble.... :shhh:
  8. Just checked my copy of the P&P side "Mini Skirts" (plural) - by Henry Brooks P&P 333.
  9. I will check but I am sure Sparkz on Bell as well.
  10. Sparkz on Bell records I think.
  11. Probably in excess of £500
  12. Nice article, thanks for re-posting
  13. All the easy ones for sale. :) Have most on Abet think I am missing a Traditions and about two others.....
  14. ....indeed you did Marc. I still have it....
  15. Just another day Johnny Truitt Traditions "Twinkle little star"
  16. Last went there in 93 - millions of records still, but very little of interest. A few crossover bits after 8 hours, no super rarities to be found. And it was spooky because his little helpers would suddenly appear from behind cupboards and things. Did get on quite well with Val as it goes. Never went back - is he still going?
  17. Yes will do it over the weekend unless someone jumps in and does it before me.....
  18. New owners of Pontins Andy, Britannia Hotels - they didn't want it.
  19. Arthur you really don't need to justify this at all....Why on earth let a prized acetate deteriorate lugging it round on dodgy decks etc. Back to the album it's from Baltimore yes? I used to think the Billy Butler that was involved with Allan Harris was the Chicago cove, but it's the Baltimore guitarist I believe.
  20. Lighter fuel is good at removing "Record & Tape Exchange" stickers, but little else. Also if using this stuff on your records please WEAR some sort of GLOVES. It is a horrific concoction, not good on human hands at all.
  21. Wayne, don't believe it has been booted.
  22. Yes sure.....here is the last show https://www.mixcloud.com/steve-guarnori/sunday-afternoon-soul-4th-march-2012/
