  1. Oxford a bit quiet mate, never mind as normal too much on Still enjoyed doing a spot its always nice to be asked. As I said Dave, the copy I am letting go has clean labels but its only VG and it has got this area on the outer edge where its been heated by the sun and is a bit rippled. It does play thro without jumping and is absoutely fine once you get beyond the first half a dozen revolutions. Its really only a fill in till a better one comes but at £30 I think its fine. I leave it to you mate, but if you can let me know either way as another chap is after it . OK
  2. Really sad all this, I too have had dealings with the count. I put a fair bid in on an issue of 3 Degrees - Contact. My bid was the highest but I did not meet the minimum bid so he kept sending me emails harrasing me to up my bid to meet his minimum sale price but I stuck to my guns and after about half a dozen emails from him he thankfully gave up. If he is being so prolific with all the different instances quoted above I will definately put a complaint into ebay if I have another instance like this with him. So beware the 'count' spelt with an 'o'
  3. Hi there, My copy is a vinyl promo I purchased from one of the countries most respected soul sellers in the country back in the early nineties. He got it from a big collection of rare originals that a guy had from way back in the late seventies. My copy has VERY distinct sharp black printing on the label, the deadwax on 'Big Thing' side is capital ABC and like the description in Manship counterfeit/pressing book says the number 12661 the number 2 has no 'oval' and the two number 6's look more like lower case 'b'. The 'Looky Looky' side has in the deadwax ABC - 12660 - again the 6's look like 'b's but note on this side the minus signs between the letters and numbers and the minus sign at the end. I also have the added bonus/interest of having a sticker on the 'Looky Look' side which looks like its been there from day one and says 'THIS SIDE PLEASE, THANK YOU JERRY ROSS'. Looking at popsike most of the counterfeit copies look like the 'ABC' part of ABC - PARAMOUNT around the top of the label looks quite feint and the general impression is that the print of the whole label is a lot more indistinct compared to mine. I dont know whats in the deadwax ? Incidentally I bought my copy for £700 originally, but it does appear to have risen in price somewhat !!!!
  4. Going to Oxford tonite Dave, I have a spare of this and a Volt spare. The Volt spare is -m but the spare Ovide copy has heat damage and is only VG but it plays fine and might do you until you get the chance of a better one. I only want £30 for it and will bring it along tonight if you are coming and you can have a look OK. HAMMIE
