  7. was it not the case that the "Atomic bomb" cover was dropped for the US market as it was felt to be inappropriate for them, steve btw a great album with some fantastic beat ballads on

  11. if ya got the choice of all three, imo take top right. as boba say's probs all original, as to which came off the press first, dunno, just shows with a distributor like Atco, they gonna have a run or two! Got a demo of the bottom press, which if it was mint Id say go for that one, just coz it's vinyl btw I think rel date was '68. with the top right on plastic. you'd probs find it was pressed at Monarch and would have a delta number that would give you the actual pressing date. hth... probs not as i confuse meself! steve
  12. Baz ya wanting an mp3 of it? or ya after the disc? if ya want mp£ can send ya if ya aint already got it. if ya after record it's on Soul 35093F shudnt be hard to pick up few a couple ov quid! steve
  13. Zane, we lookin forward to meeting you an Fiona again, as ya say no doubt Morecambe, and if it half as good as the first weekender, it'll be brill! steve 'n tina
  14. Mike, can I ask. should all tracks posted up to site be "clipped" and not full length? Nothing to do with whatever track you are on about on this thread, but I must admit, I'm still unsure on what we should be loading up into refosoul. At the mo, if I'm sending anything up I tend to send a track's full running time (albeit at low qual) should I be clipping a track off half way through? sorry if I shouldn't ask within this thread Mike, but just wondered steve
  15. Agree Zane, a fantastic show today, the bobby taylor an excellent side, flip ov "Roses Somewhere" loved that Smokey track. and Paul's put quite a few others on the Bulging wants list! Big thanx to Shaun and esp. Paul for today's show another blinding 2 hrs! and Paul! Tina sez thanx a mill for Jacqueline Jones, she was straight up agin outa the chair, just like Morecambe! sayin' "wot's this???" steve 'n tina

  24. Ya right Steve, was gonna mention that one as well and send a file up, but didnt want to turn it into a Billy Stewart thread In fact ANYTHING by the man is worth picking up and all cheap (except perhaps original copies of "FatBoy Can Cry" / "Count Me Out") steve
  25. Nice pick Sebastian, like the excellent flip to this too, "Tell Me The Truth", in fact anything by the late great Billy Stewart is fine by me, personally I dont think he made a bad record, sadly missed performer. ya got me thinking of a few others of his as "tip of the week" steve
