  2. Great double sider, flip "Dont You Feel Sorry" is as good imo. an Early Ashford & Simpson, if ya searchin for it, It's Valerie & Nick, on Glover 3003, not a disc I'd part with, but you should pick one up for bout £50 to £75, seen it a couple ov times on Ebay. hth steve
  3. Think Supremes IWAG was promo only on Motown, and the "map" design as well!. as ya say Dave a Motown copy would be worth a four fig sum these days. (even if it is a crap version compared to the Brill Marvelettes, in me humblest ov corse! ) steve
  4. Paul, it's Johnny Moore "Call It What You Wanna" on Chi City, nice double sider an cheap as chips too! steve
  5. sounds bout right steve, my issue is the same, think the crossed out matrix number refers to Jay Walking label, which was dist, by Soulville, maybe DLR was intended to have a Jay Walking release at first? steve
  6. Got this on Black VJ with oval logo, it's also scratched 66- 8829, but it has the "arp" stamp steve
  7. very nice! always rated this track, first came across it on their "Somewhere" LP, It also apears as a miss-press on the other side of one of the issues of "Here She Comes" I think? steve
  8. Be careful with them US issues...they notorious for "crackle" I could offer ya a mint- US issue...but it got that dam crackle on it! steve
  9. remember seeing a white demo wid the b side in a lads box at keele for a fiver years back at Keele, it was the night the power failed, when the lights came back on I couldnt remember who the lad was or find him! remember all you could hear as the lights went out was the snappin shut of record boxes! steve

  20. ello Ivan, was just gonna say the Orange one I got was on Styrene, and it same press as the blue screen print, done at Frankford Wayne, Aint seen a Green /White label one, mind all me other Yew stuff is on Green /White steve
  21. would say it was pressed then re-run coz of demand, at a guess I'd say orange, all the other Yew stuff Ive got are paper labels, and I'd say the orange yew looks a lot better then them orrible screen print jobs anyway! steve
  22. on a screen printed blue styrene (like the amy bell stuff) and also on an Orange paper label, both styrene dist. by A A records in new York hth steve (can scan em if ya wanted) oops meant to say it's on Yew records!

  24. yeah! Don Robey or "Deadric Malone" (his "creative" pseudonym) is credited at writing over 2000 songs!! I believe he ..err.. copywrited quite a few he aquired from writers. Often wondered how many if any he wrote himself? Mind ya have to give the man credit for Peacock, Duke and Backbeat. Awesome Black labels! He was ahead of Gordy and acheived it in the South too! He mustav been well "ard" steve
