I note the great Levi never wanted to distance himself from the Tops ever! wonder if David Ruffin ever wanted the same in the Tempt's and that's why they told him to p**s off and got someone else? steve
  8. Ya cant! and that's the reason Ebay H***'s the bidders, to stop someone jumpin in an offering the same record outside their money grabbin site steve
  9. Ive got or had the odd thing that has writing on from either artist or producer, maybe as a token of thanx to someone and I find it all a part of an "at the time" thing. Think wot Stardom was on about was getting something signed 40 odd years later! steve
  10. Id say definately a bad thing! agree with Dave, get a sleeve signed. but I have no problem with having a demo that maybe has a radio station stamp or something on it coz it was at the time of release and kinda aunthentic. steve
  11. F/W only scratched on "Love Your Pain Goes Deep" side, cant see it on ITWYW side, wonder if it's different on the one with "Just Another B Side" steve
  12. yup, agree, tho the matrix is indeed scratched it is also stamped with the full Frankford / Wayne stamp steve

  17. Is this harder on a demo? most demos i do see are white steve
  18. Supposedly rarer with the "A Mike Terry Arr" on but to be honest most I seen have! still nice not to be water damaged! steve
  19. Volumes seems to be on three different demos! that black one looks good, here's another demo white with black print, think there's a red print one too. Also the Windy C demo, I picked up a good few years ago, a demo of "Dont Waste Your Time" used to think it looked iffy, but it's stamped so guess it right, steve
  20. well not in one day, but last year when I think the us mail snarled up a bit I was waiting on a few packages, went on a course with work for a few days as I was leaving to travel postie lands with 8 packages!! no time to open so I thort "I'll look forward to openin these when i get back" well when I got back there was another 4!!!! Our lass had gone to visit her son for a couple ov days. So I opened a bottle ov wine, locked mesell in the record room and dribbled over me 12 packages wonderin which one to open first! It took me right back to them days when as a boy I'd get a 100 soulpack and go an lock mesell in me bedroom for the night with me Dansette!! steve
