  2. ...............but what if 70s and beyond aren't their cup of tea, would you expect them to keep the ones that didn't float their boatas a mometo of IL oFxx
  3. To be fair to Steve, Ian, I would of done the same thing and sold the 70s etc off as it is not my cup of tea. I had a little windfall yesterday, a gift of £300 from my ex husband who is in the later stages of Motor Neurones and I seriously considered investing the whole amount in one of your "packs" and selling off the ones I didn't want but a certain little black dress caught my eye and hell what is a girl to do So instead of buying your pack and making myself some money i am going to buy one special record with some of the money that is left, as a memory of a dear friend. You have to consider that maybe a buyer doesn't like all that is in the pack or has duplicates you can't honestly think they are going to hang on to them for the sake of it. Even you can't be that naive By questioning Steve's integrity you have tried to put him in a bad light. Steve is a true lover of soul music and a man who has a big heart and recently raised over a thousand pounds for charity and I man I have had the honour to grace the decks with when he helped me raise money for charity last year. 4. DOesn't come up very often. Think I bought another copy of the blue issue and sold it but not sure QoFxx
  5. Just checked back, and I think I paid $8 in about Feb last year oh and $6 postage but that included 2 other singles which I paid the princely sum of $7 for the both of them so I make that $21 and the exchange rate was pretty good at the time so about £14 in total Checked popsike and there are conflicting prices one also in March last year at $249 and another one at £30 for the light blue stock copy which are the same as mine QoFxx
  6. Am I missing something here, ok so mine copy is probably only VG+, the label is a bit scruffy and written on by someone called Mickey but I am sure I only paid about £15 for mine last year. QoFxx
  7. We are perhaps lucky in our area where we have lost a couple of nights, as much to do with the club managment staff as numbers, it is certainly exciting times for us in Beds, Herts and the surrounding areas with The launch of 3 new events, Stewartby Allnighter, Groovesville - Hitchin and this Saturday see's the launch of Molly's new night in Bedford. We also have the re-launch of TOTS in Luton later in the year at its new venue. None of these events are flooding the calander choosing on average 3-5 nights a year and curucially working with each other on dates so as to avoid any clashes with each other and any other dates in surrounding areas.
