  1. We seem to be going round in circles in this thread (and any other thread that KR is mentioned). Yes we (well most of us) have agreed that full explanations are well overdue Yes we (well most of us) have agreed that his threatening behaviour is not acceptable Yes we (well most of us) agree that KR is a bully Yes we (well most of us) agree that the lack of KR would be no great loss to the scene Yes we (well most of us) have agreed to vote with our feet. Some promoters have banned KR from their events but is any of this going to have the desired effect It was mentioned, either in this thread or the earlier "Whitbygate" thread, that what may have more effect is that some of the respected DJs that are booked for KRs events finaly stand up and say enough is enough and no longer accept bookings from him. I realise people have a livelihood to make and i do not begrudge this at all as long as it is done honestly and without hurting other people, but these DJs are the mainstay of KR events and without them IMO there would be no events. So do we expect any action from these DJs or will they continue to accept KR bookings. I am, in no way berating these DJs but it would be good if we could have some sort of feed back of their perception of the whole thing. All I can say to these DJs is that without you KR is nothing and IMO YOU can make a difference. QoFxx PS and although i found BBs post bloody hilarious I have to point out that even the beer towelled, unwashed (only joking and appols in advance) of Doncaster who eat corn snacks and wives wear circle skirts and white bobby socks do not deserve to be ripped off and cheated in this way You deserve better .............oh and some quality time with Trinny and Susana (only joking) TAXI

  4. If a jam butty doesn't come from Knotty Ash it is a "boot" and whoever is responsible for producing it or anyone found eating them will be banned from all my tea parties for life!!!!!! and I will circulate their names to other tea party promoters ensuring they do the same QoFxx
  5. Yes Ken, the Diddy Men are still gamefully employed down the jam butty mines Arthur Skargill and his flying pickets failed to bring them to a halt and they finally recovered to full production after the miners strikes of the 70s/80s. The parents of Knotty Ash were very glad as they would have nowt for the kiddies school "pack-ups". I heard a rumour that they are situated behing the Mecca Bingo on East Prescot Road....................but it was just a rumour. Anastasia Beaverhousen AKA QoFxx

Charlene - I've never been to me But I took the sweet life, I never knew I'd be bitter from the sweet I've spent my life exploring the subtle whoring that costs too much to be free Hey lady...... I've been to paradise, (I've been to paradise) But I've never been to me What is that all about , I also vote it as the worst lyrics ever on motown QoFxx

  13. The very same quiche, it was originally released as Bacon and Egg Flan then some french bird called lorraine booted it and tried airing it as Quiche, but she didn't catch me out, I knew it was just a cover up of the original Flan QoFxx
  14. Certainly not, grasp vol au vent firmly with all fingers otherwise the little blighters tend to escape and fall into a crumbly mess and you end up with mushroom/prawn/chicken sauce all down your clean shirt I do find vol au vents a bit toooo 70s chic for my liking a bit like quiche QoFxx

  20. Think you mis-understood me Steve, I love Dusty and think she is was the best white female vocalist ever, what I meant was that cilla, lulu etc were not in her league but Helen was good, maybe not quite as good as dusty but listenable QoFxx
  21. Maybe Helen Shapiro, but as for the others you have got to be having a giraffe QoFxx

  23. Without doubt one of the greatest female vocalists of all time. "What's it gonna be" was one of the first records I bought when I started buying vinyl again. Dusty sings Soul (I Think that's the title) is a fantastic CD with her version of "Long After Tonight is all over" which is awesome. QoFxx
