  4. Totally agree, think it is great to see the younguns havin fun dancing again like we did (and still do hoepfully) but put with the right music and could be the scene of the future. Think the moves are great but the music is sh1t. QoFxx
  5. Totally agree, its a great feeling when you have saved up for that special record then managed to find it, all part of the game IMHO QoFxx
  6. I think you have a point there. WOnder if anyone on here knows him then we can all be put out of our misery and let us see what he did actually buy. QoFxx
  7. I quite like it and can see some resemblance to NS dancing from the mid 70s, but is the garden gnome essential to the moves, cos I already carry too much stuff around when I go to a nighter without having to bring my garden gnome with me, and if I did need my gnome would I have to pay for him to get in QoFxx
  8. The amount this guy won was about 16.5K so thats your budget QoFxx
  9. Just bought this very cheap - 99p, not fantastically good copy but good enough for me QoFxx
  10. I would probably stock up on a few I want round the 50-60 mark then some bigger 150 - 400ish stuff, not everyones cup of tea but Firday Brown - 32nd Love Affair Linda Griner - Good bye cruel love Carol Fredricks - I couldn't care less Shirley Lawson - So much to me Diane Pane - What SIde You Bread is buttered on Sheila Furgeson - ANd In return errrrrrrrr bit of a girlie vocal thing going on there But have to keep it in mind this guy is starting from scratch again. QoFxx
  11. Well he now has just over 16k to spend on records. Well done chap QoFxx
  12. Think I would do the same as you but there are a couple of 200-300 ones I wouldn't mind QoFxx Yep, staying in now till the Kent Record do on the 19th.
  13. One of the contestants on In It To Win (Lottery show), Johnny, wants to win 20k to replace his northern soul collection he got rid of years ago. Would you buy, lots of records at the lower end of the price range or just a few big ticket numbers, bearing in mind he has got rid of his whole collection so is starting from scratch. oh, and Good Luck Johnny , at least the money would be spent on something sensible instead of paying off the mortgage or fancy holiday or summut QoFxx
  14. I don't like anything they have done, always found them very cheesy . Mind you I am in a bad mood cos Wales are getting trampled by Fiji QoFxx
  15. Best not let on your a eunoch then QoFxx
  16. Bearsy, you should of learnt from my lesson, post something on wants thread and all of sudden copies come out of the woodwork so you should get one offered soon but at double the price , or is that just for us girlies QoFxx
  17. I prefer allnighters on a Friday, gives me two days to recover which seems to be a requirement for me these days QoFxx
  18. A true great with a voice that could move mountains just by pure emotion. QoFxx
  19. What you talking about woman, it doesn't really matter what ring tone you have, your phones never working QoFxx
  20. OK, I've been offered a couple of copies but at silly money, what is it with men when they know a girlie is looking for a record they think they can double the price bit like plumbers and garage mechanics. For god sake chaps its not like its a pair Jimmy Choos or a Louis Vuitton tote bag. Prepared to pay a sensible price for the right copy and also will consider uping my budget slightly QoFxx
  21. Did have QOF but now got Jerry Williams QoFxx
  22. I had envisaged 3 months of sainsbury's value range to save up for this, but due to small windfall I am now actively looking for a copy. The condition is an important factor. I will be in a position to buy this in about 3-4 weeks but as it is a record I haven't seen up for sale very often I thought I would start looking now. Keep your eyes open folks QoFxx
  23. Just a thought, how can you generalise about sellers from one country when there could be many good sellers in the country, perhaps people outside the UK are saying the same about some UK sellers that may be a bit dodgy, but it doesn't mean they are all bad I know we have had discussion before about sellers from certain countries, belgium springs to mind, but all the sellers in belgium can't be bad and maybe it would be better to mention specific sellers and not generalise about a country............just a thought, not trying to be contraversial. QoFxx
  24. Took paypal off me this week, mind you it was only for the price of a couple of pints but seems a realy decent chap very prompt communication QoFxx
  25. Glad you said that, just bought 2 off him this week off evil bay and never bought from Germany before, but as they were cheapies thought I would take a punt. I look forward to receiving them from him QoFxx
