  1. You got it my mate, also no permutations or a cover version
  2. Isn’t this a cover of ted Taylor Julian? Or is this the original?
  3. My apologies on the paradox tune,im mixing it up with the vocal version by Dave walker on uk rca!
  4. Could be wrong, but I’m sure I’ve seen this on another label, maybe a foreign label with a big hole?
  5. That’s out of the window then That’s out of the window then
  6. Jason knight-our love is getting stronger on uk pye,is this a true uk release,no other permutations?
  7. Is this before or after the 45 do you know?
  8. Actually is Jon ford a cover too? Or is it the original version?
  9. Is Dennis dell the original? Or is it little Anthony?
  10. I think all of them fit my mate, apart from Lorraine silver which is a cover version of a USA release by some other woman!
  11. Thanks mate, however that thread seems to include permutations of 45s like lp tracks etc…..this thread is looking a bit deeper and detailed
  12. I’m gonna be quite detailed here,im interested in seeing a list of northern soul uk only 45s? Predominantly 60’s and some 70’s. a list of 45s that are uk only,no foreign release or USA,no album tracks, and an original song for that particular artist! I imagine it will be a short list and of blued eyed soul origin! RAY MERRELL TEARS OF JOY JAYBOY MICKEY MOONSHINE NAME IT YOU GOT IT DECCA …these two are perfect examples of what I mean. timi yuro never be over (this isn’t) chapter 5 (this isn’t) these two have album an foreign releases! lee
  13. I had this rarity for a while, never seen it since, vinyl too,as opposed to mala styrene
  14. Apologies,I think I’ve read it wrong,it appears to be a compilation lp?
  15. Is levanna a singer/musician? also is the album cover versions or original material? if original, whom as wrote the songs?
  16. bigger joke than 80% of records on discogs i reckon some sellers from the USA think we will pay anything for a record if it sounds remotely like a soul record!
  17. I’ve sold stuff in the past on his auction, the buyer pays what the winning bid is plus post, the seller(me) gets the winning bid less fees(I’m sure is 20%) however in most cases you will achieve higher than you thought, so the fees get soaked up!
  18. Quickly looking at that,Motown didn’t have a usa sleeve before 68? What did they use? Apologies,I didn’t see the further tab at the bottom of the page
  19. No quibble returns paypal as f&f or bank transfer in lovely shiny ex condition £300 inc first class signfor
  20. NO QUIBBLE RETURNS PAYPAL AS F&f or BANK TRANSFER ON A RED MERCURY ISSUE EX CONDITION (can do pics later) £650 inc post
  21. Everyone should be made welcome regardless of ability,if a person is serious about the scene then anyone can clearly see that effort! I personally am only traditionalist on the subject of original vinyl only,no exceptions! so fill your boots my friend, and you and your mates keep northern soul alive
  22. Next thing will be that final dance move out of “ghost” with Patrick swayze to timi yuro it’ll never be over
  23. I’m aware of the two soul releases on the label, are there more? condors let me down easy/meet me halfway (name change to jeanie & the gentlemen on limelight label, same mix, also very rare) personally I prefer the meet me halfway side, superb mid tempo with great trumpet break! softiques bashful/two kinds of boy two kinds of boy is the side for me! But was this released on another label, maybe name change? and finally are these actually released 45s? And/or acetates? lee
