  1. actually marc the only shrine 45 he has never had or auctioned is jd bryant, that could be regarded as a double sider and is a classichowever not the rarest record by any stretch!
  2. Melba Moore-magic touch on musicor or Sumet!
  3. can any one think of a northern soul record that has had speculation from word go,but knowone has ever seen one? eg...isnt there suppose to be a sam nesbitt-chase those clouds away on a u.k rca issue?
  4. what defines rarest? 1 maybe 2? and is it possible it will be very rare but not particulally good! i for one reckon its the inspirations on breakthrough, flippin rare and mega!
  5. I agree with Marc...that box never had a record inside it! Is it possible the seller had a few items to box up and post, and forgot to put the 45 in the box?
  6. Very good price for a very rare quality record!
  7. I think them on popsike is the other cautions release which is far superior, though this release is admittedly rarer!
  8. Such extreme differences in prices lately, For me I'm losing track of what a true realistic value is for a record, buying or selling!...and your right pete it ain't a patch on jd bryant.
  9. Beggars belief pete!
  10. Did it fly out pete...you should have stuck it out for 3k...haha
  11. I'm a fan of the shrine stuff...but 3.5k for that, is a crazy amount! I'm sure there's was a copy on here not to long ago, though be it a bit rough, but in the realms of 450 quid!...bloody big difference
  12. cheers pete...i will send it over to you anyway...leave it with ya!
  13. haha...take the record and give me half of what you get!
  14. does anyone know if it actually sold? and if so...how much?
  15. very true the crucial word is SELL! and also if the record is actually WANTED! as an example..ive had the abstract reality_love burns like a fire inside up for sale for £80 in m- condition,jm has a ex copy on his site for £350...the fact is that mine is priced to sell...however it hasnt sold because no one wants it cos its CRAP!
  16. hi all' rising in value and demand! abstract reality-love burns like a fire inside-sport m- £80 inc p&p (this is mike & ray of "man without a women"and "if you only knew"
  17. I reckon that's a half decent cover version! I'm not interested in buying it,but I've certainly heard worse! They play well and the singing is cool....pretty good id say.
  18. I'm selling my guitar Even if you don't play,it's a great bit of memorabilia of the jam, paul weller! the guitar is a original rickenbacker 330 from 1987,it has been vinyl wrapped in the "whaam" pop art as seen on paul wellers guitar in the video"start" the colour of the guitar underneath is black "jetglo" it's in excellent condition, and plays fantastic with the jangly rickenbacker sound. £1500 postage or collection to be arranged Also for sale is my marshall full valve amp which sounds cool and very loud with the rickenbacker. £600 Thanks
  19. you would be better putting the other side on,might attract more interest.
  20. i know very little of the process of vinyl in a plant, but is it possible that they all start off as a bevelled edge and then a final cutting process sharpens the edge off?
  21. thankyou peter,i might add its very good of you too let the guys know its your 45 for sale,i might also add that when i was considering buying the record, that i also looked at some copys from the 80's,and there were differences there! the 80's copies really do look like they are repros, where as your copy looks, felt, and smells a hell of a lot older, and i would defo clarify that the mlk record is also a bevelled edge, and i very much doubt that that has been booted!
  22. its only got 10 mins to go...i expect to see a mad rush shortly!
  23. toni ross-hurry back! what a record and extremely rare any info guys?
  24. i just aint sure about the record...but when your sat there with both in your hands and all the paperwork,it just seems very convincing! but at 3k i needed something more, the paper trail just shows whos owned the disc but doesnt really clarify its authenticity,so im half and half really!
  25. just to add...ive just checked out p bradys auction, and the m l king disc is there aswell,i can confirm that the 2 discs are identical in quality and etchings, andthe m l king disc is defo from the 60's,so i would say there is more evidence to suggest the chris clark 45 is real as oppose to not!
