  2. I didn’t know it was yellow,I thought it was white?
  3. I seem to recall some years back Carl fortnum putting up a pic of it? It’s a real item and yes it has to be up there with the rarest items! But to who the true identity is I reckon we will never know! But who cares,it’s a great tune and a great 45 to own if one is lucky enough to have one!
  4. I think sheep has taken the pics and thought they uploaded, but haven’t! Can be a bit hit and miss if internet connection isnt great!
  5. I really like the shows kev does on YouTube, this one with Jordan is cool and the Tim brown one is cool too
  6. There’s no denying the raw talent here,no polish,no glitter…just this girl, acoustic guitar and great songs!

  7. Martha star on Thelma etc is one R,this sweet temptation tune is Martha Starr two RR’s,so I would guess the chap used this as a sales tactic, also they don’t sound alike! So I would put my money on it being the said Carolyn Sullivan is Martha Starr and I doubt there is a 45 with Cresa Watson doing sweet temptation. could Carolyn Sullivan be cresa Watson also?
  8. Jesus wept that many? any idea on which came first with this and Martha star?
  9. The ward burton remained elusive for many many years, then maybe a very small handful of mint copies turned up over the last few years, giving the elusion it’s not a rare record anymore! I reckon it’s still a rare record on the grand scene of things! personally I much prefer the Martha Starr version,a bit slower, but a cool tune, and I’ve never seen it in the flesh! I wonder which version came first?

I’m from Macc,I enjoyed every minute of the soul nite, all the djs played fantastic sounds,a great mix of stuff that worked! Superb venue,if I had travelled 500 miles it would have been worth it,but alas I crawled home big thanks to jez and team for keeping northern alive in macc
