  1. Just checked on popsike...it's a group called true nature-what it is-gogate
  2. Do you mean a third release on the label,or by one of the artists? If you mean a third release on the label, then it does exist,it was on eBay not long ago,it had sound files, and it was bloody dreadful,so bad that you couldn't even convince yourself it's good tune just because of the label.
  3. I agree, raretie can be its worse enemie sometimes!
  4. It's a fair enough comment from nev, sometimes it's easy to go overboard with info, however if its something of raritie or obvious interest then thats cool! Eg....acetate....or demo or issue where it's rarely seen/heard of. But good on the chap for sharing his playlist, they are always great to read, and to see what djs are playing/trying out!
  5. It's a decent tune, and rare, not likely to turn up in any quantity! Certainly in the top end bracket value wise, and dare I say it,but I prefer to the little john!
  6. Good job I didn't sell them the record,it would have been covered in scratches,cracked all the way through,worn label,and 5 times the price of a mint copy...Haha That's a joke by the way...I'm a fabulous seller...hehe
  7. Still wishing and hoping for a green USA issue of cajun hart-got to find a way-w/bros.
  8. haha...ok maybe not joker and sos!
  9. who buys these god awful things? im not being a snob by saying theres no point playing vinyl unless its orig! but for me you may aswell play a cd rather than one of them carvers, like pete says,at least buy something that had a legit release..eg..pye...joker..sos...grapevine!
  10. If anyone put Sam Williams for 2k and les Chastonettes for 2k here on soul source, they would get laughed off the site!
  11. The red issue copies were unseen for many years, but they seem to be filtering through nowadays.
  12. Haha...no sweat brother, all the vulchers will be hanging around at the last second to pick at the carcus!...haha
  13. Hi gang, For fun, list your top 3 beat ballads on the rca label, there must be loads of em! Kenny Carter-don't go Brook benton-where does a man go to cry Vinnie monte-I don't the heart to tell her Have fun Lee

  18. The emeralds catch me I'm falling is on there, and your right it's a bit rough, but the bside ' beware' isn't there, also ted I can't find the ravins track?
  19. That rare one by the ravins, and the bside to the emeralds on Vick called beware.
  20. Aaaarrrrrhhhhh....of course it is.....thanks,sounds great after all these years!
  21. Hi gang,it's at the end of the video after the del larks,it's an instrumental, but for the life of me I can't remember it.
  22. Defo pete, the version without the drum roll and one vocal take is miles better, that double vocal on the other take ruins the song,I wouldn't bother with that one, anyway I don't know which one is rarer or more valuable?
  23. I'm surprised so many quality soul singers have bothered to waste recording time on a run of the mill weak song, neither here nor there to my ears...sorry!
  24. A lot of good sounds being played on your car stereos,iPods, and that old thing called vinyl! Haha Keep em coming guys! Lee
  25. Haha...yes it makes you cringe waiting for it,hoping it might not do it,but it does! You would have to own it to know it! The issues show up on popsike, but I imagine a nice orange copy would be in the realms of £400?
