thats the first time ive heard that kent release,i dont mind saying that its toss in comparison! so there is a alt take of danny monday...where has that come from..a tape..acetate maybe?

upon listening to the song "baby without you" on youtube,there seems to be 2 different versions,both backing tracks are the same,but danny's singing is different in both the phrasing,and aggression,i have the original record to which his vocals are more aggressive and phrased much better,but the other version sounds like he is doing karoke to his own song? anyone shed any light?

bottom original copy is only known for a couple of copies,and i think they are a single sided disc? i wonder if all copies are here in the uk? maybe ted can answer that?

dave did you buy my debbie curtis that i sold on here a couple of years back? and yes this version is far rarer and better than the williams version.

the sound quality on the orig billy arnell is shite too,have to crank the volume up! so the boot may even be better?

it would be interesting to hear about records that you recently discovered and blew you away,just to realise that the whole northern soul scene as known it for years, but somehow youve completely missed it? im embarressed to say, that for me i recently heard 'the intruders-check yourself'and all my northern soul faith returned in an instant upon hearing this storming piece of real northern soul.

dont really matter pete....the bottom end records (value wise) the boots fetch a similar amount to the origs anyway! stupid i know,but thats how it is.
