  1. Yeah I told him after I put an early bid on it and then retracted it,he was decent about it,I told him it was a 70’s reissue not a true 60’s release,he didn’t know himself,but I would have thought he would have now stated it’s a reissue not an original!

  4. It appears the Shelley fabares is the original version by one year,and just to add lack of imagination, they got Lorraine to do a version of the bside too! How dull! seems I’ve answered my own question…sorry guys.

I’ve always rated lost summer love as a cracking bit of northern soul,however upon searching on YouTube I noticed another female version released on veejay also from the 60’s by a Shelley fabare(which isn’t any good) anyway which is the true first original? im also putting a want into wants for a copy of Lorraine silver on original uk,issue or demo,don’t mind which. thanks lee

  11. whenever I get a new record I always look in the run out for the obvious markings,but occasionally there is a name etched in the runout,anyway today this is what is etched in this 45 “ MARTYN HASTIE IS A TWAT OIL” what records with run out humour have you come across? enjoy lee

  13. I’d say the 45 is a rare record in any format,and I’m not sure it reflects in the value whether demo or issue! Sorry that doesn’t answer that querie whatsoever

  23. The issue is much rarer,however the demo is more eye candy,but a nice issue has got to be £900 to £1000 lee
