  5. Im sure if you search Jordan Wilson in the search bar above you will see his soul nite in manny
  6. Im not sure there will be a specific “mainly younger people” soul nite because I doubt it would work economically? However there is something in Manchester run by Jordan Wilson which I imagine attracts a younger crowd, but it’s not just northern soul they play so im told! And there is the happening in Bristol but that’s a bit of a way out! hood this helps ps…we’re all young at heart
  7. This is currently on Tim browns auction (some very nice pieces listed this week I must say) harry and vee vee Anyway he mentions he has no idea whom vee vee is? Could vee vee be vee Allan? Of “with or without permission” on movement and other 45s? i dont particularly like this harry and vee vee tune, but curious as to who she is?
  8. For me it’s the circle of life,as a kid it was all about the oldies, then it slowed down to the beat ballads and Stafford era type stuff, then came the xover and a bit of modern with a sprinkle of Latin stuff! Now we’re back to the oldies (to which I don’t mind personally) but then I guess it depends what you call an oldie?
  9. I couldn’t add anything to that, very well put on all points
  10. Never seen one in the flesh! A nice want my mate
  11. Storming piece of classic northern soul,uk only tune,no other releases! strong ex condition most would say m- £250 inc post
  12. Try this once more, dropped from £300 to £250 stamped original in original sleeve labels a bit tired but the vinyl is great, close to ex and plays spot on £250 including post
  13. Is there anything Motown about the mini? Any little touches to the interior or something?
  14. Great info I love this tune, however, the guitar bum note at 1:18 is possibly why they didn’t spend any time on promoting it? That’s not a criticism,as I like imperfections in recordings, but the powers that be may have thought it’s too late in the day to re record the song after it was pressed? And just simply put little effort into it?
  15. All them prices are pretty much what one would expect from a set sale or selling privately, the auction process on this particular week doesnt seem to have had a plus or minus affect? the Mel hayes i dont know, maybe a very limited number of people know it or werent aware of it on Tim’s site?
  16. Fair comment I reckon lad
