  1. Good lad,love it
  2. Sounds like a hostage and ransom situation to me,cheeky bastards are gonna be pushing a ransom note through the door for a substantial amount of money or the records die! scumbags!!!
  3. I think no matter what version of the original in todays market your not gonna acquire the record for less than 5k in any playable condition! I got a copy for a mate some 5 years ago in ok condition and that was 3.5k! The true first press is up there with the big boys and easily 8k
  4. Which jimmy robins tune is this?
  5. yeah it actually ended $842....im dumbfounded on every level!
  6. Surely to god a 50 quid record at best? Still half hour to go too!
  7. haha...... yeah maybe he has thought bugga this im off!
  8. yes that makes sense mate, ive not noticed a transition before, but i reckon your spot on!
  9. comin' home in the mornin' 45 this has dissapeared from the auction? it was on approx 4k the other day? i hope this hasnt been pulled because of dodgy origins! lee
  10. Also i mention jms cos thats where the record is,just to be clear i dont have any problem with ANY auction site at all! People will pay what they wanna pay!
  11. Yeah its not the worst tune around, but i have seen it around on occasion, and i just havent bothered with it feeling like its something i would play twice and be bored with it! And in terms of value ive never seen it at any more than 600/800 quid! i agree with recent items fetching huge amounts for relatively common records in not the greatest condition! But i suppose thats auctions for you
  12. This 45 is up to 3k and ending later, seems bloody heavy? Again if i were contemplating this tune i would have thought 750 tops? As it turns out its not my cup of tea, sounds like a very weak supremes effort! thoughts?
  13. Yes if yours is the orange 9723 its the first release, and most dealers would list that at around 250 quid, privately maybe 180 quid, and all dependant on no less that ex/vg+condition!
  14. Even the issue that turns up maybe once in 50 sales of the demo is only ever around 600 quid isnt !
  15. From a dealer? when items sell on auction for crazy amounts that is understandable, and the dealer has nothing to do with that! And someone selling a record on a private sale on here or behind closed doors is what it is too! But id like to think a dealer, especially those whom have been around from word dot to set a more realistic bar! This record in particular, for example if the going rate amongst collectors and djs is typically 500 quid,i would expect to see ANY dealer set sale it maybe 600 quid for there business efforts……but not pick a ludicrous figure like 1k out of the air! Its an insult to the regular buyer! I mean why stop at 1k,why not 2k for it and hope a d**k head pays it
  16. This isnt a name and shame effort, and i do agree with “pay what you think” attitude, however i also think dealers have a responsibility to be fair! so this 45 in question….as are many 45’s like this now! 1000 quid …really? Isnt this 600 quid too much?
  17. Yes i think it was george,i had to sell some nice items quick to raise 5k for jd bryant on shrine! To which i succeeded
  18. Middle pushed out? Is it orange rca label or yellow? Maybe a pic?
  19. So this is this the boot? Also i think the bsides are the same, really good tune “look in the want ads”
  20. It has to be vg or less and normally worth 3 quid
  21. This looks like your copy, just copy whatever middle this chap used,it must have worked fine, cos there is no mention of it affecting play!
  22. Ive just checked my listing, how time flys,it was actually 2013! So i suppose i got a good price then!
  23. Im surprised you didnt nail my mint copy off ebay a few years back…1500 quid! Seems cheap now
