  1. I've just been down the tip with Davina to throw some rubbish away right, I'm just standing there waiting for her to stop talking to the woman in the next car and an old bloke comes up to me and says "Excuse me, you do work here don't you?" I looked completely shocked and said "No I don't work here" Cheeky old bastard looked at me as if he didn't believe me so I said "these jeans cost £70 mate", he said "well you shouldn't wear expensive jeans to work" and I said "I DON'T F*CKING WORK HERE"! I had on the aformentioned jeans, a Hugo Boss t shirt and a pair of imported Vans which cost me £60. That is not scruffy. My girlfiend is now calling me THE BINMAN. Great. The above topic was also put on by Mr Smith Pete not only are you deaf your obviously blind or don't own a mirror aswell Only joking mate killed myself laughing at the above.

  4. I believe it was Mr Manship who releived BOB SLATER of his vast record collection back in the 80s,I was told that he sold Manship in excess of 8000 singles. Now that's a serious collection in anybody's book.
  5. I was talking to JACK WARDELL some week's back and he told me the story, but BOB SLATER was taking hand full's of record's each week and in the end the dj's were waiting for him and Jack to walk through the door's at wigan.A lot of them take credit for discovering some track's but it's BOB SLATER who deserves the credit.

  25. I blame these want a be djs, some re-mortgageing there houses getting thousands of pounds and just going mental and buying anything and everything. And Manship will gladly take there cash of them and in a couple of years time buy them back at a quarter of the price very good business management in my book. I myself think it's a lazy way of collecting i like the chase trying to find that little piece of black plastic for only a few $$$ then sending it to Manship and watch the mug's buying it or taking to night's were they are djing and happily taking the green of them. LOVE IT
