  4. In December 2011 Middlesbrough lost a very well known & respected Soul Boy & Scooter Lad called Paul Boase "Boasey" he tragically died aged 51 with a brain heamorrage, "Boasey" was a well known figure during the Wigan Casino & Cleethprpes days and we will be holding a memorial Northern Soul Night on Saturday 31st March @ The Erimus Club in Middlesbrough in memory of Paul & all proceeds from the night will be donated to his family. I'm asking if any Record Dealers, Promoters etc might consider donating something to the raffle that will take place on the night. We have already recieved very generous donations from Ady Croasdale, John Manship, Steve Plumb, Warrior Clothing etc. Please message me for address details. 5. I know the guy selling these tunes, (He has asked that i keep it to myself) he has guest dj'd for me in the past at various venues that i promoted and co-promoted in Middlesbrough and Newcastle. When i got told that he was selling up i tried to get to see them but he would'nt let me, as i was wanting to obviously just cherrypick my way through them but he wants them to go as a job lot, (and he considers me a friend as well) I know that he's kept approx 150 back as his personal favs if he ever wants to play them out again, (mainly classics) I do know that the guy used to regularly get the soulpacks from soulbowl every couple of weeks in the early 80's and to my knowledge i've never seen or heard of him selling any before.
  6. I'm sorry to inform the site but TED WHITE (Newcastle) sadly passed away this afternoon in hospital. I would like to pass on my sincere condolences to all his family at this sad time. Ted it was a honour to be your friend, R.I.P mate xxx
