Really enjoyed my first visit to this venue. Great dancefloor and top music from all the djs. Music for everyone, a great cross section. I heard tunes I had never heard before alongside some great classics. Everyone was friendly and I would strongly recommend. Well done to all involved

Many thanks to Trevor, Drew and the team for getting the show on the road. I really love this event, the venue is perfect for a soul night and now with the built in sound system the records sound better than ever. I enjoyed the night from start to finish and the music from Trevor, Drew and Chris, a great cross section of tunes. The floor was in really good shape for dancing and it is great being a sunken dancefloor, being away from the bar area. If you haven't been to this venue before, I would recommend it with a reasonable priced bar with good food available. Keep up the great work and thanks again from Sarah & Matt xx.

A superb dayer, well run by Phil and his team. Great Dj lineup, they all delivered great tunes throughout. Records that I would love to own! Too many to name including Richard Caiton, Walter and the Admerations, Alice Clark, Charles Mintz, True Image etc etc ...The sound systems were great in both rooms, it was well worth the journey. Loved meeting up with old friends and new, keep up the great work at the new venue in 2025- all the best and Merry Xmas!.

Great Music in a great venue, well run as always. A great selection of soul tunes from Northern to R&B, from Latin to Modern. Well done to all the dj's and the promoters for getting the show on the road. Also for the dancers to make it another 'night to remember! So many great tunes.....

Thanks to Sarah, Dean, Kev, Adrienne, Frank, Rico, Gilly, Rebecca and the Soul on Wax team for a wonderful weekend, as always. Great to meet up with like minded souls at this wonderful venue. The staff are great and loved seeing them dancing with us all and enjoying the event. Top music in both rooms from all the other dj's. Really enjoyed it from start to finish. All the best and will look forward to Dowty's in a few weeks! -
Many thanks for Pete, Paul, Julie and Liz for putting on this top event. It was great to hear some top tunes from the guests John Drake & Bryan Rookes (aka Rusty), also from Pete and Paul. A great selection of records over many soul genres. Something for everyone from some great oldies to the rare and underplayed. Well worth the journey and I will definitely be back in the future. Great to meet up with old and new friends, a really friendly club with a well run bar. The dancefloor was superb as was the sound system. Always a thought for Warminster Lynn, who helped with the sound system before she sadly passed, she was a regular at this great club. Many thanks to everyone , who made this a night to remember.

A great dayer as always, well run by the Soul Mafia crew. The music was top draw, with many varied sets. All the dj's did us proud and the dance floor was busy. Sad that Rob couldn't make it and I hope he gets well soon. It was nice to meet up with so many friends and I will definitely try to make future events here, when possible. Great to have two rooms and a chill out area also. The bar was well run and the bar staff really helpful. All the best and here's to many more events at this top venue!

Thanks to Trevor and Sarah for putting this wonderful soul night on. Most people would have given up at the first hurdle, with two venues cancelling the event. However they managed to find this wonderful venue and we all had a great night. The music from Sarah. Trevor, Ken and Nigel was great , covering all genres of the soul music we love. Trevor's attention to detail was great as always, making sure the sound system was top draw. If only I had his knowledge. I hope there will be more events at this venue as it was well worth a visit. Keep on keeping on!

A big thanks to Sarah, Dean, Frank & Rico for getting the show on the road and also to Gilly, Rebecca, Glyn and Lorrie for all their help. I always love these events in this great venue, with a top sound system and a well run bar. It was really good to hear some varied tunes throughout the dayer. It was great to see Dean behind the decks again, here's to many more! Also it was good to hear some tunes I had never heard before, especially from Ted. It was brilliant to see so many people attending from far and wide, also to see the dancefloor busy. I will look forward to more Soul on Wax events and have already bought a ticket for Swansea in October, which should be a stormer with the dj line up already announced- 'Keep on keeping on' and a big thankyou!

A really enjoyable day with like minded souls. A big thankyou to Wayne, DC and the team for organising the event. I really enjoyed the dj spots from Richard Trump, Wayne, DC, Alfie Linney and Pep, as always quality tunes in a wonderful venue. The music was diverse and well worth the journey down, to a wonderful City. Keep up the great work!

Many thanks to Trevor, Drew, Jill and John for getting the show on the road. I always love this event, either as a dancer or a Dj. I was priveleged this time to be able to spin some tunes. I ,as many, was saddened to hear the news of the passing of Ray Lacock this week, who will be sadly missed, a true gentleman. R.I.P Ray xx Getting back to last night - I loved the tunes from the other Dj's on the night. Trevor & Drew kept the floor busy with tunes across the whole Soul Spectrum. It was great to hear Danny Moore, The Dramatics , Tom & Jerry and many more. It was also great to hear Plymouth Dave's superb tunes, including The Vondells and Checkerboard Squares etc. I was also glad to hear that Nige Graham, is getting well after his operation and that he will be spinning some tunes soon, again on our wonderful scene. The dance floor was great as was the sound system. Also the bar staff very friendly. It was great to meet up with old friends and new, a really top expierience. I will hope to get back to this venue later this year to enjoy a good dance- all the best and go to the top of the class, to all who were there!

Another superb weekender, well done to Sarah, Dean, Frank, Rico, Gilly & Rebecca for all their hard work on getting the event up and running. Also to Paul and Don on sorting out the great sound systems. This event is so worth going to as you are surrounded by some great people, who always want to dance, listen and party! especially after the football on the Sunday! The Music was diverse and there was something for everyone, having three rooms meant that you could easily find something to your liking. The dance floors were great and the bar well run, as was the restaurant and accomodation, the staff being really helpful. We can't wait until next years event and if you haven't booked yet, be quick! We hope Dean gets well soon as he was missed with his great tunes and personality. Many thanks and see you all next year from Matt and Sarah xx -

Really enjoyed the event and well done to Scotty and Wigan Brian for making it all happen. I haven't been to this venue before but I thought it ticked all the boxes with a good bar and helpful staff, good sized dancefloor and sound system. Really enjoyed the music choices of Scotty and Wigan Brian, they kept the dance floor busy. It was good to meet up with some old friends and to talk to alot of people I had never met before, all really friendly and all seemed to enjoy the event. It was a privilege to spin a few tunes as always. I would definately recommend the soul night if you have never been before. Keep up the great work and thanks.

Great Night as always with some top tunes from Chris Thorley, Danny North, Mark Davis, Mischief and the Special Guest Pete Lyster. If you haven't been to this event I recommend it as you will hear a great cross section of Soul Music through the years. Covering all the genres we love from Northern & 7t's Soul, R&B. Latin etc. It was well attended and it was great to meet up with so many friends. Great sound system and dancefloor, with really helpful people at the bar. Keep up the great work as this night ticks all the boxes! Many thanks from Matt.

Many thanks for inviting me to spin some tunes, I really enjoyed the evening from start to finish. It was great to meet up with old friends and new and it brought me back to the many great nights we used to have at the Bournemouth University. I liked what Dave, Stuart & Steve are trying to do at the club, by playing underplayed tunes with some oldies also. Poole has always been a great area for soul and the knowledge of the soul fraternity is very high. I have been educated over the years with the quality dj's in the area. I really enjoyed the choices on Saturday made by Dave, Stuart and Steve. I will try to get down again soon with my dancing shoes on, as it was great to meet up with so many good friends- thanks again and go to the top of the class! from Matt.

A quality afternoon of soul as always. It was great to meet up with everyone, the Dj's did us proud with records that kept the dancefloor busy throughout the day. Always a really friendly atmosphere and the residents have some great tunes, also to top it off the superb Jon Drake and his wonderful box of tunes, well done to you all for making it a day to remember! If you haven't been before try to get to this event - a great way of dancing your Sunday Roast off! - many thanks!

I really enjoyed the night at the Glastonbury Soul Club. Peter, Paul, Liz and Julie, have a great club here and if you haven't been before, I would recommend it. The sound System and venue is really good and the music played by Peter, Paul and the guest Mr Paul Fradley (Fradders) was very varied and the dancefllor was kept busy. These guys have a great knowledge and it was a privelige to hear their sets. I heard a number of tunes I hadn't heard before that were very good alongside the tried and trusted. With all this the bar prices were reasonable and the bar staff very helpful - It was great to meet up with old friends and new - keep up the great work and I will hope to get to more great nights in this wonderful part of England. Thankyou all.
