    I bet that if the guy who "won it" reads this thread he'll repeat the first half of his name over and over again until he's sick. Having said that I do have some sympathy. I first heard this from a tape in the early 80's and I thought it too poppy even for me and I had completely forgotten about it till I heard it played out last year and even before it had finished it was one of those I had to have. It eventually appeared on ebay and I must admit that my snipe was way over what I payed for it. If it had been anywhere near the JM price though it would have been one of those wants that I'll never get.

    I thought that the price on Jimmy Bo Horne was pretty reasonable until I saw the condition.

    Vocally this version of You've Hurt Me Now by Sunday Williams is not as good as Lovelites version but then again Patti Hamilton is up there with the very best. Anyway this just arrived in the post today and I'm well pleased with it.

    To see your feedback as a buyer go into the drop down menu to Dashboard - then click on "view my purchases" which is just under the list of your last 5/6 purchase. You'll then see your feedback as a buyer next to your name. I reckon that on discogs about 75% of sellers take the trouble to leave feedback. On ebay it's about 90% and on SS it is considerably less - probably about 50%. I don't buy from sellers who don't leave feedback which I must admit has caused me some mild anguish in the past lol when I have seen one of my wants.

    So next time I'm faced with a sales box I should ask upfront if they are all for sale and if not then which ones are? Which reminds me I had a similar incident at a famous venue near Wigan about 14 years ago and for the life of me I can't remember what it's called. I looked through a 200 box and they were all top quality but when I asked how much he wanted for the the Hy- tones "know my name" he quite bemusingly informed me that they weren't for sale and that he was one of the DJ's!

    From what I can gather from the TV mags the storyline is being billed as "The Ultimate Betrayal" No - it's not that his misses is playing around with someone else but she sells some of his vinyl online to help out her daughter who is in financial difficulties. Is it the ultimate betrayal though? I think a lot of people would think it is.

    Are you really serious when you say that a good tune starts at £100?. Your going to feel silly when next year you buy something for £100 that you could get today for £50/£60 or even worse £95. And remember prices go down as well as up - there are 100's of sales lists littered with records that are £££££'s below what they went for in the past. It's all to do with changing tastes and the type of tunes that get played out and there will come a time when the newbies and even the returnees etc get sick (again) of hearing the same 500 or so records and prices will surely fall.

    Top one for me is Miracles - Ooh Baby Baby which imho is best song ever written Can't do another one cos I'd have to list 150 tracks in joint 2nd place
