I know the Rouser version is more expensive but it couldn't be argued that this is a re issue?

How much would an original be nowadays?

I know the Ambassador version is much rarer (and more expensive) but I do prefer the Royal Tone version which is a bit faster and louder

Although The Odyssey was an immense project and extremely listenable I am going with the Lost Without You Kent ballads cd simply because it is the one that I have enjoyed the most, probably because most of it was new to me and although it is definitely a grower it is worth persevering with it.

I've been looking at this post whilst I wait for my wife to get ready (to go shopping) so I've had loads of time to go through the lists. When I first saw them I thought that some of them e.g. John Drevars, Soul Jo Clements, Barry Benson were not that bad ( I remember when they were quite collectable) but god they are! but most of the others are worse than terrible.I I actually took the time to listen to as many of the ones I hadn't heard before and it just got worse. I don't think I've ever looked forward to a shopping trip as much as right now. I have to get these sounds out out of my head. Would have liked to have seen Judith Durham Again & Again on the list - I'm sure that was played at the Casino.

No I'm still waiting on mine, even though the US Post Office said it had been delivered. The seller has confirmed he will give me a full refund but as I too would prefer the vinyl I'm going to give it till the end of the month. Interestingly the seller told me that he sent a package to UK on the same day he sent mine and the other guy only received his on Tuesday so I'm keeping fingers crossed that it will turn up soon.

Does anyone have a clean original copy of this for sale? Please pm with price & condition. Thanks Tony

Thanks Kev. Hopefully it is just a holiday issue as I'm not at the three weeks yet. Am just wondering if the delivered date is the date it was delivered to the UK rather than the final recipient. Anyway fingers crossed!!

I've never came across this problem before but I was looking through my email purchases and one I bought a couple of weeks ago was marked as delivered Last Friday. The shipper was USPS and I clicked on the tracking number and sure enough it showed delivered Dec 4th. I have notified the seller that I haven't had the record and asked where it was actually delivered to but I'd like to know if he is responsible for chasing USPS? or is there anything I can do?

I have a copy of this and although it looks brand new the sound quality is awful - I thought they were all like that?

I'm really looking forward to getting the Jack Moves album. I'd have bought it on the strength of the single Doublin Down/Seasons Change but this album track which I've just seen on Youtube is the clincher.

I didn't think that the Jackie Opel came out on Wirl. If you get stuck I can send you both sides on Coxsone but it's a reissue. Looking at the Shrine label above I'd never noticed the fact that the "distributed by" in bottom right hand side is reversed - not that I have any Shrines to refer to lol

Touch wood I've never had a problem with this during the 3 years I've been with Gixen (but I have been paying the $6 for the mirror snipe) I can't even remember now the previous sniper I was with for many years (just know it got too expensive) but I do recall that on a couple of occasions my bid didn't go because of technical issues. Funny enough I've seen some very low prices going through on ebay recently and I hadn't bothered to snipe because I assumed they would go higher than my maximum.

It would be interesting to know if either of you have paid the $6 for the mirror service which places a bid from a different server and apparently is 100% reliable (excluding issues caused by ebay)

Is it possible to buy a record without creating an account on your site? If so I'd like the Heartstoppers please.
