  1. This is flip of I've Had It - I'm sure I've seen in the distant past another pic of this record with George's writing - maybe he did a few at pa's.
  2. Hi - I'm after a copy of this if anyone has one? - failing that does anyone have it on a CD/MP3 cos I've lost the tape I had it on Thanks
  3. I know there have been lots of threads on Rufus Wonder Under The Moon but I've never bought the theory that the Lendo lable is a typo given that there is an issue & demo on Lando - so is this the pressing sold as an original?
  4. That David Ruffin track would be in top 5, but my top one is Smokey's Ooo Baby Baby simply cos IMO it's one of the best records ever made.
  5. Yes it's not as expensive on Thunderbird as it used to be but it's the only way to have it on a WD.
  6. Does anyone have a clean copy of Soft Touch - Close To You/Treat A Guy on Shout lable that they want to sell? Please email gointoagogo ataol.com with details. Thanks
  7. Two that always do it for me - both so good I can feel their pain! Barbara West - Anyone but you Wendy Rene - I wish I were that girl
  8. What a great idea this is. When I start to have a clearout of vinyl I'll offer this option.
  9. This is easy to get from top 25 played tunes on iPad Desciples Of Soul Peek A Boo Sweet Breeze. Slow change up Dream Team. There he is Soft Touch. Look up look down Smokey & Miracles. Don't think it's me
  10. Same for me too - what a great sound- thanks Jason
  11. Didn't mean to include u tube links - just clogs up system -- isn't Doris Willingham Doris Duke?
  12. Amazing - thanks for the post.
  13. It's funny how we all have different tastes - If I could only keep music by one artist it would be the Miracles. IMHO some of the most soulful music ever made, some great northern dancers, the brilliance of the lyrics and those wonderful harmonies - sheer heaven.
  14. As an aside to the authenticity of the one(s?) pictured above I can't understand why the name of the record lable is not identical on both sides. Can anyone think of any other records where they haven't used exactly the same font - I've racked my brains - well for 10 mins & I can't come up with anything
  15. As far as I can see the pics show 2 different records - the bottom 3 pics show a different record to the one in the close ups of the run out groove. think Trevski is spot on and I'd lay money that the one with the funny bue colour is a boot. Still I'll probs buy it once it gets to under a tenner. Rarely buy a boot though I will make an exception for this one.
  16. Talk About Run - Clint Eastwood & General Saint
  17. Is it He Tells Me With His Eyes by Ruth Brown/ Patsy Ann Noble?
  18. I started collecting them when they came out but stopped at vol 8 when my vinyl addiction returned. Vol # 6 is my most played compilation cd/lp ever - Apart from 2 tracks that I'm not so keen on it is classic sweet soul all the way.
  19. I got the Vestax few years ago too and am well pelased with it . Think it has gone up in price cos it now has USB. - These USB turntables are great for getiing your vinyl on to your laptop/ipad/mp3 etc - got a Denon USB one last year and it's great sound & build quality.
  20. No it's definitely a girl - I agree that on 1st hearing she sounds like a guy. Listen to look out love on Tower - its a girl. B side of look out love is lonely lover which is same as b side of time will change. It's Sherry & the inverts
  21. Is it not a girl? I always assumed it was Sherry & the Inverts
