  1. It's Bobby Goldsboro - Too Many People - There are a few copies on discogs. It's a good example of those blue eyed pop dancers that were played in the late 70's. I must admit I had forgotten all about it but it did bring a smile to my face listening to it again.
  2. According to JM guide the original has the Nashville Matrix. Not sure about this repro version though. It certainly looks the part!
  3. One sold a couple of weeks ago - $2658 - there was a thread on here about it I think https://www.popsike.com/COURT-DAVIS-TRY-TO-THINK-MOSTER-NORTHERN-SOUL-HOLY-GRAIL-EAST-COAST-45-7-HEAR-/251971929210.html
  4. Theres one on ebay right now
  5. Hi Does anyone have a copy of Keep On Walking on Violet Records for sale (1st issue) If so please pm condition and price Thanks Tony
  6. I'll take it thanks Tony
  7. I can do the Puffs Ady - and I have a good camera now! Tony
  8. <script language='javascript'> </script> That's exactly what I was going to say Kev. What a tune!!
  9. There a Rita on ebay at the moment I think
  10. Hi I'm looking for a copy of the following - Charisma 5 up 1 down on Beauty Label? If you have one for sale please pm condition and price Thanks Tony
  11. Lol not as silly as me - but I still found it funny. Thanks for putting me right Paul
  12. Completely different type of comedy to the usual deluded sellers - the title of the last track always makes me chuckle https://www.discogs.com/Gladys-Knight-And-The-Pips-All-I-Need-Is-Time/master/112843 I think the person who put this up needs to retrain/recalibrate (or whatever you do to it) his siri
  13. Thanks for the article Andy - very illuminating. I wasn't aware that there was yet another alternative take - I'd love to hear it. There was bit of banter between Jim Reeves (Engineer) and Linda on a Youtube post a few years ago - may still be there. Now we just need some enterprising soul to release an ep with her 5 tracks.
  14. Hi does anyone gave a copy of Gents & the lady died inside/ feel the tears on Hue for sale? please pm condition & price Tony
  15. Thanks for this clip. Even though it is brief it is apparent IMHO that they released the better of the two versions.
  16. Does anyone know how I can listen to the alternate version?
  17. I think the worst is still to come for the perceived ott prices. Over the coming months there will be 1000's of collectors or returnees who will be taking advantage of the new pension rules and will be determined to take probably their last chance of owning that record that they have always wanted. This is when we will see once and for all that prices are determined by buyers and not sellers.
  18. Yes that's it - the Dome - I remember seeing some playlists at the time and that was on it - but how can I hear this alternate version?
  19. I've just been reading the John Manship Auction post - his sales blurb is fantastic and surely must help to get him the high prices he regularly achieves. I particularly liked his description of the Linda & The Vistas on Shrine - then I remembered that there was an alternate version of Linda & Pretenders Believe Me which I think got played in London in 2001? I've never actually heard this version and wondered if anyone had a sound clip or CD of it?
  20. Bump - I'm still looking for a copy of the Ultimates on Valentine label. If you want to part with one please PM me with condition & price. Thanks Tony
  21. Does anyone have "Show Me Your Love" by Wall Street on Nu Tone for sale please? Thanks Tony
  22. I've always liked this one - used to get lots of plays in late 90's. Donna Loren - Blowing Out The Candles
  23. I remember buying one from soul supply back in late 80's . It had a green cover and I know it had connie van dyke on it and I think the the enchantments - I'm in love with your daughter. I would have said 87 but if the red soul supply was 88 then mine must have been 88. I am sure that the adverts for soul supply showed 3 cd's but I can't think of what the other one was. Is this soul supply the same as what went on to be gold mine soul supply?
  24. Yes was just going to post that Ronettes was 1st version and is IMHO the definitive version. Still love that Where Are You Now by Jackie - one of the best 60's girly ballads
