  6. Nothing to do with NS I know, but I have a book about the early 80's Liverpool Scene that revolved around Erics, which was Liverpool's equivalent of the Hacienda. It contains that photo. Roger was much involved in promoting bands at Erics, including Echo And The Bunnymen and the Teardrop Explodes.

  11. My favourite track from the LP, guess this was recorded in Detroit? Stevie Wonder - Be Cool, Be Calm (Keep Yourself Together) (fr. Down To Earth 1966) top uptempo motown
  12. that Darrell Banks also looks authentic, maybe because it's in it's London sleeve! There are lots of UK 60's EMIDISCS that are genuine, Soul, Beat, Pop, Folk etc. Seems that the track titles give some indication whether they are possibly genuine. If you have two titles by different N Soul artists that are completely unrelated on their original labels it's a good starting point.

  16. I've got a few for sale at the moment I'll sent you a pm tonight. Tim
  17. At the end of the day, there's still only two known copies because no other's have ever surfaced. I thought the story was that Berry Gordy asked Frank if he wanted to be a writer or performer. Frank decided on the latter, and all the copies of DILY were destroyed and BG's orders. Esther Gordy Edwards, curator of the Motown Museum is said to have a copy, so that's another one that is rumoured but again unproved!
  18. Hi Richard Yes they did, I reckon it's every bit as good as the Bunny Sigler original. tim

  20. this was posted up on here a while ago on a Motown theme thread, the side was 'If That's The Way It's Feels', very folk-garage rock feels, kinda of the Byrds meets British invasion.
