  1. Manic 1964 T-Neck Release featuring a certain J. Hendrix on guitar (interestingly a different take for the 45) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=usP3yLGru1Y Nice midtempo dancer - pre-motown 'My Little Girl
  2. Wasn't quite sure what it goes for, but the last UK one on Popsike went for £25.
  3. Will pay up to £25 for an original UK Issue.
  4. Hi Rubert UK Chambers Brothers recordings are listed here: https://www.45cat.com/45_search.php?sm=re&sq=the%20chambers%20brothers Interesting that I'm sure Fat Boy Slim sampled the bass line from 'All Strung Out' for his 'Weapon Of Choice' track, compare them and see what you think? stars at 0.50 in what'd reckon?
  5. PRS do get music reporting from Youtube and pay royalties accordingly to the videos with the highest amount of hits. However some obscure video that's had 250 hits isn't going to recieve any royalties because it too low down on the list.
  6. I knew it was Dee Dee soon as I heard it, she has a very recognisable voice. TV showing of movies on the main channels (BBC, ITV etc) always have short or no credits. So I'm still none the wiser.
  7. Was watching 70's movie 'Charley Varrick' over Xmas and suddenly heard the voice of Dee Dee Warwick. Checked the internet for any details or details of the soundtrack, nothing! Does anyone know if this track was ever released? Here's the clip with the track:
  8. Reggie Milner - Habit Forming Love (Volt)
  9. Think you mean 'Grands House Of Records', spent many a happy day in there in the early 80's.
  10. I've also had two auctions ruined by this idiot during December! First one disappeared off ebay completely, no sign of it on my account this was after it finished! Second one luckily I was able to offer it to the second highest bidder. This guy is completely mad!!
  11. Turns out this was released on Rare Earth in the US, must be some US label tie up somewhere!
  12. Take a look at this, very odd, don't even know the track? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/350501426003?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
  13. In the same vein but earlier and as good in my opinion, Unreleased Timi from 1965! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MGs2561kfwo&playnext=1&list=PL93C346349219FFE6
  14. Hi Lorraine That is good news. Working as I do for a UK copyright organisation I see far too many unlicensed releases. Normally they are too small scale to deal with or the seller has obtained it via a third party and is unwilling to remove the product from their website or auction or reveal who the supplier is. Tim
  15. https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0129fwf/Glastonbury_2011_Plan_B/ fast forward to 22 mins in.
  16. Need one of these in VG or better. Thanks TTM
  17. True, there are a large amount of royalty collection societies throughout the world. , most are non-profit making. Problem is they all have very different procedures and policies, and they are effectively 'private' companies, which is why it is difficult to amalgamate them. Having said they they do work together and exchange information to ensure the correct people get the royalties they should be paid.
  18. Hi Paul I work in the Music Reporting Team at PRS, which is responsible for getting in all the data from various revenue streams - TV, Radio, Live, and Online. Although I've worked here for the past 28 years so I guess I know a fair deal of what goes on here, but there's always new things I don't know about. Are your agents 'Imagem' (Boosey & Hawkes) rather than Imogen?
  19. Just to add to what Paul and Ian have both said, please note that PRS only deals with Composers, Authors and Publishers, NOT PERFORMERS, and MCPS is similar. I wouldn't necessarily rely 100% what on the MCPS database either, bootlegs do find their way on there, as some less than honest record companies issue what appears on the surface as 'official' recordings and they don't have the necessary licences from the original copywriter owners. Tim (PRS) (Ian who's your PRS contact?)
  20. Tony, as usual your harmony becomes you But seriously, are the tracks slow, fast
