this ebay seller is a fantasy grader.
i had an issue with this seller and bulldozed them into giving me £100 off a £250 tune AND got my customs money back by simply saying ill give you feedback as i find. ie appalling grading and serial customs form filler.
sadly you may have got a sniff of my (and no doubt others') shitstream. sounds like they've toughed up a bit.
if anyone thinks ebay cares about £10 fake records and are willing to do anything about it you are badly wrong. what commercial organisation is going to spend time looking at £10 transactions in their 10000s unless they have to. its not a matter of resources they have enough money to what the like when they like if they want to. simple fact is they dont.
they will say this is what the resolution service is for.
i know people who have bought fake Dior eye liner that at worst might blind you and they didnt give a flying feck. make up is a bigger problem for them than antiques or records as it can seriously injure people and they dont really care about that as its too tough to police.
best you can ask for is that they close down a seller so best you can do is leave negative feedback if you think the seller is trying it on constantly. if you dont do anything ebay cant / wont.

its totally fair for a seller to decline a partial refund as long as they offer a full one on return.
problem is as a seller getting another copy of the same record back in worse condition ie a different copy than the one you sent. ive had that happen a few times over the years. people minting up at my expense.
no. never. enough people involved with records grade on what they would like it to be to get top price rather than what the grade actually is so dont feel bad about complaining if you think its not correctly graded.
ive had people on here send me records with 40+ marks on the vinyl and claim its mint. then in the same breath claim theyve only played it 5 times so it cant have 40+ marks - how is it mint then i wonder.
and mint minus records with 10 seconds of cue burn and 3 skips. records graded as ex that are vg- and g in parts. the lsit goes on. always hold your corner and if its on ebay always send back trackable and have any notes / copnversations on a resolution claim.
i like crash burn learn. reminds me of my hip hop yoof. might want to try hassle free record selling group on facebook as well. more chance of selling more on there.i would think. new stuff goes down well and theres a wider bredth of buyers style wise.
good luck and well done for getting something pressed.
