Friday pre glasto concert was very high quality. Didnt go to Glasto but CB seemed to have them all eating out of his diamante slippers from the TV footage. Antibalas were exceptional live. First time seen them. Sharon "so bad she kicked cancer's ass" Jones was first class as usual. Maybe the 'bunch clueless c+nts in cricket sweaters" may take notice now and give her a decent deal and help them sell more tunes.

exactly. or go to some weird blokes garden miles from home and sift through boxes smelling of rat / cat pi++ or a shop in the wrong part of town thats clearly a crack den. terrible today, beer in hand, some nibbles. bring back the rats pi++ please.

theres only one troubled individual that i can see.

yeah he does have good mailers. dealers get knocked a bit about their outrageous pricing but theres always something cheap and waiting to happen lurking in his place. nb: dont click too far into the matrix of other films that come up at the end of his. some are just awful.

i doubt im the only one who will be confused as to why you are not openly offering up the grade nor the clip in the advert. -

i think you missed a quite important factor in getting offers. the grade. -
thats one of the groups on FB where people get very vocal about being flooded with low end records people cant sell anywhere else. like all groups it was great in the beginning, ie a few years back when it had a few hundred people on it. however its now has 1000s of members the quality has been seriously diluted. so i would suggest not the place for selling stuff you cant shift on ebay as that is exactly what has killed the group some time back. it is still possible to sell records under 40 quid and make a profit, you simply have to find things people dont know that are good quality tunes. if they are good and are priced right they will sell. Des on here does it really well. good tunes rock bottom prices.

looking for a copy of this pls send price and condition via pm if you want to sell one. thanks in advance.

to be fair ive not missed the point at all. with business its easier to look for an excuse rather than a reason. and easier to talk about it than to find a solution. they are not too cheap if nobody is buying them. that would suggest they are overpriced. basic rules of trading dictate make hay while the sun shines, hence your examples. what is left is your stock and you sell it for what you can get for it if you need money. the price of everything shifts. finally, if its your living and you are suicidal thats tough and i genuinely feel for you mate. however, the rules of economics still apply. market dictates price. supply and demand rules. no commodity, object or service is exempt from that dictum that i know of.

firstly, i dont mean to cause offense, Vince. you came looking for answers presumably. these are my opinions as someone who buys a fair amount of tunes each month from ebay at all levels. do with them what you will but definitely check out discogs if you are not on it already and make sure you are the cheapest for the best hit rate. and, again dont take this the wrong way, but if you knew what people wanted and had that up for a price that is fair to assume you would sell them right? as you are not that statement seems to be at odds with the reality of what is going on. records that are a decent buy dont stay on ebay for long. people are on them like a shot. simple economics. too many soul records around? economic logic dictates that they are too expensive or else they would get sold.

facetwatter (or c=ntbook as it is sometimes known) is not a magical solution. i looked through your list and am sorry to say that the tunes arnt worth buying for most buyers. facebook has in recent times been awash with people selling cheap tunes and it just turns people off. theres a few discussions a year on groups like hassle free record selling about this very point. and people can choose to disarm your posts so you just end up alienating people discogs is maybe worth a look for you, Vince. they dont charge to post ads just take a commission and i was surprised last year at some of the old sh+t people were prepared to buy. sold lots of 45s i got in job lots etc that i felt werent even salable. and if you have 1000s to put up its a lot easier than ebay as the pages for most cheap records are already there for you. you simply need to look at the cheapest price from a UK seller and ask for a bit less.

routinely buy things for 20 quid off ebay that you could buy for 100 quid on manships. even if they do add customs, which not all do, the you are better off.
-
i doubt it as most of the time its a hell of a lot cheaper than dealing with UK dealers.
