  1. Hello there I am looking to sell my mint copy of the 100 Club 27th Anniversary 7" on Kent featuring I Don't Wanna Lose Him by Gigi & The Charmaines b/w Too Late Now by The Mysteries. The record has hardly been played. Offers please to me either on here or to my email at fuzzyjonclay@gmail.com. I am based in London, UK, so please state offers + postage. Payment will need to be paid by Paypal Gift (or whatever they call it these days!) Cheers, Jon
  2. Hi there everyone Myself and a couple of friends are trying to track down the whereabouts / details of Chance Halladay. As far as we know he had 3 7" singles - 2 on the Bull Dog label, and 1 on the GNP label. I've heard some of his tracks played out on the Northern scene, but he seems to get more plays on R&B and Popcorn nights. There's also a mention of someone with the same name who either starred in or did part of the soundtrack for a trash movie in the 1960s. However, all other leads have gone cold! I'd love to hear if anyone knows anything about this elusive chap! Many thanks, Jon
  3. Hi there everyone I seem to have two pressings of this 7", one on Pye and one on Out Of The Past. I'm looking at off-loading one copy, and was just wondering if either version is rarer than the other? Now I know that the Pye version isn't worth big bucks, but I can't find any past sales info on the Out Of The Past version. Just wondered if anyone could shed any light on this for me. Cheers, Jon
  4. Oh!!! Not quite the answer I was expecting but thanks for replying
  5. Hi John If you'll be there in June then I'll be there too (6th-13th). I'll also be DJing at SoulCat (amongst other places during that week). I don't really know any soul nights there but they used to have something at the Lido in Kreuzberg. If you want to know record shops then I'm your man Cheers Jon
  6. Hi there everyone Does anyone have any background info on Marginal Records out of Belgium? I've recently sold one of their CDs on eBay, and it just got me wondering about the label as I hadn't heard of them before or since. All I remember is that I definitely bought the CD from Beatin' Rhythm in Manchester many years ago, and what attracted me to it was the fact that most of the tracks were b-sides / album "fillers" etc. Just curious and nosey, that's all Cheers, Jon
  7. Well, this is mine It was my first ever tattoo, and it started a love affair with tattoos that is now almost as big as my love affair with Northern....!
  8. I ordered a 7" from the USA a few months ago, and after 5 weeks it hadn't arrived. I contacted the seller who swore blind that he'd posted it Airmail. The very next day it turned up absolutely soaking wet... and I mean ABSOLUTELY!! The record had been just slipped in bubblewrap in it's sleeve which had disintegrated due to the wet.... still played though Lordy knows what had happened to it on its journey!! Apart from that I've never had stuff missing that's come to me, although I have had stuff go missing that I've sent out to people outside the UK. With this in mind I always now obtain proof of postage from the Post Office (you can download a form from the Royal Mail website). Of course, this doesn't make it any better for the buyer, but at least it proves you sent it when it comes down to a Paypal query or insurance refund. Despite all the mentions of problems with Italy & France, I have never ever had an issue. Saying that though, an Italian friend of mine confirmed that the Italian postal service (especially in the Naples region) is absolutely rife with theft....
