Do any of you guys and girls remember the all nighters at Derby tiffanies think it would have been 1975/77 time.can remember Hector doin sets but cant remember who else djayed there,anyone remember?

Sad to here that denny passed away,remember him playing some great music at the brit,i was constantly up at the decks asking him for info on records,he was alwsys freindly and helpful

Some of my happiest times ever spent there,so many vivid memories.can remember being downstairs at food stall getting some chips and full time groover coming on it sounded like the dance floor was gonna come through everybody clapping in time to the music,by the time i got up there the dance floor was packed,cant remember ever seeing dance floor so crowded,happy happy days

Was listening to some classics at work with me headphones on and looked around at other people and had an overwhelming sense of pride that i was and am a soul boy and felt sorry for those other people that they would never experience the sheer joy of walking into a nighter or any event and be transported away by the music. I might be wrong but i just cant imagine other music getting people that way,i know i sound like an opinionated old fart and i have listened to many other sorts of music including classical over the years but nothing else gets close to that feeling of walking into a room hearing a few notes and nothing is gonna stop you from dancing or just takin it all in.i know weird right

Mines got 65_BY_216_ rc1 and bell sound stamp. On the label it has 45_402. 65 BY 216.some small differences,dont know if thats any help

Casino november 1974 got in remember thinking it was expensive didnt realise edwin starr was on did half his set and then started again coz the people at the back couldnt hear him.still got the badge with his face on from that night

Loughborough town hall ,fantastic venue.went one night must have been 76\77 and there had been a c.a.m.r.a meeting ,still loads of pints on the tables,a good night was had by all

Lincoln drill hall,Derby tiffs,had some happy times there

Hi everybody, was hoping somebody out there could help me.my brother in law and sister used to goto allnighters in the 60s .some body gave him a c60 tape which he gave to me.the tape was chewed up years ago but i have had a record stuck in my head that i have never been able to find was looking for some help ,not much to go on it starts with people talking like at a party then somebody says soul time sock it to sock it sock it to me then goes into a mid tempo sax driven instrumental.the chorus is two notes on an organ the crowd goes ohohh then the same repeated on a deeper note. Iknow its not much to go on but dont want to go to my grave not knowing many thanks

went to kgb mid 70s from what i can remember it was down a few stairs straight on to dance floor, the far wall was all mirrors and the ceiling over the dance floor was quite low.when the place got packed ,which it always was the mirrors would be running with condensation .dont remember ever seeing a live act ,but didnt go every week

john black used to dj at ilkeston coop. selectadisc was just round the corner from birdcage on bridlesmith gate

spent many a happy hour talking to andy and john at the brit,also did spots at the adelphi club and bali hai on monday nights,happy times.

derek sheldon hector and ian walker did spots at the all dayers a few times
