  4. First time I saw him coincided with my first trip to Wigan Oct 74,remember thinking its a bit expensive to get in, then about three in the morning Edwin came on stage I was completely mesmerised, was right at the back, I can remember after about three songs people at the back couldn't hear him so he started again from the begginin, what an amazing guy.
  5. The Ws on mine are w one underneath that upside down so it looks like an m, then one to the right of them on it side so it looks like an E, hope that makes sense
  6. Hi folks, somebody selling a Eddie Parker love you baby on here as an original with the three Ws but no archer stamp, I thought they were a seventies reissue and not worth much, plus I don't think the voices of East harlem is an original either but I am gettin old so might be me
  7. Don't know if this counts but I found a copy of Esther Phillips in a junk shop on Alfreton Road Notts in 1975 and a copy of Ronnie mcainn about the same time, sold em in the eighties to Rob Smith for peanuts, not that I'm bitter!!!!
  8. The problem is there are hundreds if not thousands of people who never went the first time round, ie in there teens who feel they can come to a venue and behave like there in a bier Keller have a few beers then rewrite history
  9. Hi people have been following a record on jm auction and was surprised at the closing bid, I already have a copy but it has an airline crack, it doesn't affect play, was just wondering if I sell how much does that affect the asking price, thanks
  10. Cheers thanks for that
  11. Cheers ,the one I've got must be something else coz it ain't got an archer stamp large or small just this three m's or w's in a design one on its side with one above the other
  12. Hi people lookin for help determining weather my Eddie parker love you baby is an original, guy I bought it off years ago sold me a lot of records he had bought from manship. Discatron Revisited!

Used to have a discatron with cassette tape slot on the top, was crap though coz it only had one drive wheel so it never played very well. Used to take mine in junk shops listening to records I didn't know, spent hours in various shops sorting through records then giving them a listen either buy em or put em back, happy days
  18. Yes it does thanks
  19. I don't expect to get top price for these, a lot of them are vg+ to ex there are a few minters but to be honest I've had so much joy out of them that getting some cash out of them is a bonus. If I looked on them as a classic car they'd be a practical classic, not sitting in a air conditioned garage going up in value but not being used
  20. Cheers for that, probably go with the discos account
  21. Got stuff like Betty Moorer, Sam moultrie white demo, wally Cox, millionaires never for me, there's about 80in all, had a look on true soul valuations but most aren't on there and the valuations on there seem a bit over the top
  22. Sorry obviously a touchy subject
  23. Hi guys finally decided to sell up, not got a lot of records now, been off the scene for quite a while was wondering where's the best place to find valuations. Many thanks
