Going through some old CD's to make sure I have everything loaded up, just love the 'Golden State Soul' CD from Kent, here's a few sides I have, anybody got more that were not on the CD? before anybody says anything, I adapted the Variations scan to fit the unreleased songs from the group on the CD, just as album art...:-))

Going to give it a go, have all the Lp comps that came out, they are fabulous...But this has tons not on that series... especially interested in in hearing the Marvellows track Ady Croasdell mentioned... great label, and fabulous music, what's not to like folks...

Nice NZ copy of Jimmy Smith - The Cat, notice the Aussie import stamp....

well that makes Leroy sign his initials backwards on this copy... that said love signatures by the artists, but prefer them on the sleeve..

absolute beautiful track.. got that certain... "Smile"! and that SAX break!!! :-))) worth 70-100, paid £70 for a mint issue, love Brunswick demos and Issues, they just feel good dont they...

Margie Joseph - One more Chance, the perfect crossover record for me.... That big list is allot I'll have to look again, come back with some additions, but how's about Midwest Francise on MCA?

Cheers Robb, I'll check out that thread on SDF... so the label was short lived, and I guess as always with these small labels they are set up for a single group or singer, I guess the Superlatives in this case...

Updated, Nice track, my favorite is 'Won't You Please Be My Baby' which I guess is a bit more in the Northern Mid tempo vein... all good though.. here's the Johnny Adams first and second release...

Hi folks, I have 2 nice sides on a label called 'Dynamics", but cant remember seeing many others on this label or Design... I see 'Dynamic' Records out of Texas, obviously not the same. Then I found 3 tracks by The Superlatives, that have blk and Blue labels, and slightly different label design, but same Detroit address, and separate release numbers... Interesting label, dont see to much more out there, can anybody help with the missing info, maybe tell us what the TY-56957 relates to on my scans below? and I'll pip it over to Dave Rimmer for his web site once its reasonably complete...
